(((((MG and DS)))))))))))))) How very sad :( Poor DS1! Hope you can convince him it's not his fault - he sounds like a sensible lad so I'm sure he'll come round to it eventually. He's had a BRILLIANT start in life, and you will continue that of course - he will learn to take responsibility for his own education and find out things if he wants to know them. He's got the tools to learn, and he's interested, which are the most important things :T :T And you just never know what will happen in time xxxxx

MG and DS1: Big hugs for you both. MG don't forget we hurt when our babies hurt. It is so sad to hear that DS is unhappy. But tears are healthy and letting the emotion out is also healthy. Once he's calmer you can convince him it's not his fault in any way. Sadly, it's another of life's tough lessons learnt.

He sounds like a lovely young man, who will go far. A special hug for him from another Matrix Auntie(.:A)

Ahhh, poor DS1, and Poor MG too. Hugs for you both. I concur with everything Robs Mum said, and also send a hug from a matrix auntie!

Can I celebrate please? I have just reconciled and balanced a spreadsheet which had been eluding my ministrations for the better part of a month. And I have done it!! :D:D:D:D:D:D

Oh, poor DS1 - hugs to you both.
I do hope that the HT and her OH get theirs at some point in the future:mad:

    Well done, crickett:T
ETA. your Dr obviously missed the 'how to make your points tactfully' class. I wonder if it is getting like the days when everyone got told about their smoking whatever they had originally gone in for?

Thanks for your support - things sometimes really aren't that bad once you get on with them :rotfl:

Yep I second that one. Anticipation is half the battle sometimes.

MG - I am with on you the parenting sucks days. I had DS sobbing his heart out as one mindee told him she didn't want to play with him when he asked and he didn't understand why. I desperately want to shield him from heartache like this but it's a hard lesson he needs to learn :( Hope your DS understand it's not his fault xxx

Crickett - Well done on the spread sheet :T

Marru, she is beautiful! A Fluffy Tuxedo cat! Does she have a name yet? I keep thinking of the name Audrey for some reason...! Maybe because it is a girls name and my tuxedo cat is called Alfie!
