Oh dear Crickett you've just inspired me to look back at old posts on here - lots of progress in some ways but really not in others! Mostly fascinated by my post about spending £21 on food for a fortnight in 2007! :rotfl:Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0

Hey all - long day and not that productive, alas: took posh, expensive sandals to a dress agency only to find that they weren't accepting items today, and have spent most of the afternoon mindmapping a book on internet marketing, but it has taken me that long just to write out all the branches as it's going to be HUGE!
Need to crack on this evening, and may have to bake a cake.

I'm off travelling again for work on Monday (last one of the european multiple-city trips this year I hope!) and you all know how much I love packing.
MG - if DS1 wants postcards from four European cities next week get him to email me his address and what he wants to know about each place. More precise location details are on my linkedin profile...
Had a lovely evening pulling someone else's case study apart while watching Mamma Mia on DVD... I have the music somewhere and I really must start singing again...0 -
Morning Ladies. Had bad attack of insomnia last night. Not sure what caused it... but currently have matching sets of luggage under my eyes and feel like crud, not putting to fine a pint on it. I intend on being a bit lazy this morning under the auspices of staying in and waiting for a parcel to be delivered. I am about to write the menu and the shopping list and then start on the chores for today. I think I will be nice and wait for about 8am before breaking out the hoover!
That way, I won't wake the neighbours!

Enjoy your "lazy" morning Crickett, although hoovering doesn't sound like being lazy to me, far from it lol.
I'm up early too but am feeling calmer and stronger about the ex situation and will not binge eat or drink too much today, need to return to my healthier lifestyle!0 -
Morning all, so glad it's the weekend! Thanks for the best wishes for OH's dislocated wrist, he's been referred to the local fracture clinic so we're just waiting for an appointment. Got a party to go to today and the parents round tomorrow so wishing you all fun weekends
Fantasia: well done on the non- smoking, when I gave up 6 years ago I remember food tasting "stronger" for a while, probably as my taste buds healed. I also found the first 3 months the most difficult, once I got past that I found I wasn't thinking about having a cigarette in certain situations xxMortgage: 2011: 86000 - now: 499000 -
Morning. Busy day today despite it being the weekend! Dh at work 8am-10pm (ouch) and two friends coming to look after the kids cos I have to go and do a play in a park OUTDOORS with my class - lots of positive vibes for dry weather especially around 1pm very much needed please:)
Ds is going to gymnastics with one friend then dd has got dancing, then a show this afternoon - We will all meet up somewhere at some point and probably get fed by pubs along the way.
Did our play indoors yesterday and the kids were fab but today is very important for the school as there will be loads of important guests - and our school is not renowned for its excellence as it is in a very deprived area and is not well loved because of the heads style. The play should show how fantastic the kids are, how well they can learn, remember and act their parts and make everyone sit up and take notice of us in a positive way for a change. I just have to dress up as a Victorian and narrate the thing!Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly
