Dorastar - Positive "break a leg" vibes for you and your class. Have fun and I hope the weather is kind to you
Crickett - Just take it easy, if you wanna be lazy then just be lazy. I think after such a poor sleep you deserve it xx
Sunny but cool here. Popping out to pick up an ebay win this morning and then the usual pottering. Out with H tonight to celebrate our wedding anniversary which is tomorrow so looking forward to that
Not much else going on

Happy Anniversary for tomorrow Bitsy!
Well, I have sent hubby out with a shopping list to get our provisions for the week. I am waiting for a parcel to be delivered. I ordered some crafty stuff over the internet, and I just know that if I go and have a shower, then the delivery will arrive. So I am waiting for hubby to get back and then I can go and get clean! In the meantime, I am having fun surfing the net and being a lazy lump. I must say, it does make a nice change!I am planning to spend most of my day either reading my Programming Book, or doing some kind of craft. And there is the housework which needs to be done... but if I work at it, that could all be over and done with in a an hour. That is assuming that hubby doesn't help... which I am sure he will.
Right ladies... have a good one. Off to surf another region of the internet!"A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort"Herm Albright 1876-19440 -
MG, as greenbee said above if your DS would like postcards from Italy just drop me your address. It's a UNESCO world heritage site/monastery which is up in the hills not far from Milan. I'm going for a harp/creativity workshop so again let me know what sort of things he would like to hear about and I will send him some bits
it seems 1pm is the time today - so Dorastar good luck :j to you and your class for your play, I'm sure they and you will be great!. Souk good luck with the frock and have a fab time at the wedding.0 -

OMG... I am so cross. I have ordered some stuff from and on-line craft shop. I paid for fast delivery so I could get it on Saturday. They said I would get delivery on Saturday morning. It is not 3pm and there is no sign of the delivery. I am incandescent with rage. !!!!!!. I paid over the odds so I can get delivery fast and this is their idea of customer service?! Grrr."A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort"Herm Albright 1876-19440

Email them crickett and ask for the delivery costs to be refunded and state that you want the item delivered on Monday at the latest! I hate bad customer service. No longer using this account for new posts from 20130

Gald to hear your play was a success Dorastar :j. Sorry about your purse tho'. Hmmnnn not good about your craft-stuff Crickett.
Mr Thrifty was off work yesterday so we had a lovely day pottering around doing nowt. Today we have been at the diy in dd's room and front room - it is lovely to see little jobs being sorted.
Right ho ladies, am looking at our back garden. It's approx 15 foot by 10 foot and is a mass of lumpy, uneven grass and weeds that I keep under control by strimming. We want to pave part or all of the area so am looking for some uber-fit matrixettes who have laid paving stones and can direct me where to start. I think I'm mad , still it will keep me out of mischief.

I'm back online - fingers crossed, only the guys at the computer shop couldn't get my MS Office disk to load and wanted to leave it till he got back from holiday on Wednesday to have another look:eek: Having left it until 4pm on a Saturday to attempt a reinstall.

Needless to say I did not pay him the full fee - £30 on account. He didn't know how to do partial payments on his accounts system - so I suggested he found out cos that was all I was prepared to pay until everything is back tickety-boo!!
