    Happy !!!!!!! fathers day

    My charming ex has today:
    - Stood outside contact centre when I went to drop DD off (even the other mums feel that he is intimidating - I have learned not to get intimitated but I do get annoyed)
    - Bought DD sweets despite that we have agreed that he brings her fruit instead (he did give the fruit as well)
    - When buying her sweets explaining to her that he is doing it because he loves her (Hello, what do you think DD is going to do when she grows up and feels a bit unloved - COMFORT EAT!!)
    - Told DD that he is going to cry on the way home because he misses her (DD is 6 that is emotional blackmail!!!!)
    - Brought her back late (only five minutes but it happens every time and is a disrespect to the staff that should be able to close up and go home and which are all voluntary workers)
    - Stood outside the contact centre waiving to DD when I left (note all the other parents had gone and staff was still inside locking up).

I am going to sit down now for 10 minutes doing cross stitch. Then I am feeding the troops and then I shall go into strike for the rest of the eveining. I bought today two books that should keep me occupied: Excel 2010 and Ebay for Dummies. (I have 5000 books to sell before I can claim an office space...)

    Phew... feeling better already...

ETA - it was F-r-i-g-g-i-n if you wonder :rotfl:

Yay the missing purse has returned - it was pretending to be a Victorian artefact form the play but showed itself just before I was going to phone the bank to cancel cards (phew!) I do work in a very dodgy area so wouldn't have risked it for much longer.
    Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly
    Emergency fund £1000/£1000

Great news Dora - there's nothing worse than the "purse panic" feeling.

I'm back in a more chipper mood - a good dinner will do that for you. Although I felt like "pants to the healthy eating" in the end I did cooked my planned veggie pad-thai - and it was seriously yum So glad I didn't blow it because of a bad mood.

My Mum and the kids escaped the rain to day by going to watch "Kung Fu Panda 2" - s Dad and I were despatched with the shopping list. Fair trade :rotfl:

But I had a sterling day in the CS - managed to score 3 Aladdin Bento Boxes - two for the boys and one for me at £8 for the three.

    Boys:

I have been lusting after these for yonks but could never justify the price - how can buying lunchboxes make one so happy - it's an MSE affliction:rotfl:

Slightly less posh, but on my "keep my eyes open for list" were three click together lunchboxes with carry handles that my MSE visitors used and liked when they came up. For the princely sum of £1 each in the poundshop - they will be in the post on Monday BTW :D

Roll on the summer - we are all prepared for supercheap days out carrying our own food.

Off to pop DS2 into his jammies

I have one of those MG (in pink) from when I used to leave the house for work so could justify the price by avoiding buying food in the office!

Trying to summon up the energy to get the house and garden sorted and packing done ready for next week's trip... Not doing well so far, although I did go to the tip this morning to get rid of garden waste, tetrapaks and the dead strimmer. I also got to the health food shop so am fully stocked with vitamins, toiletries, chickpeas and delicious ice cream which I don't normally get there as I'm usually going on somewhere else.

Glad you found your purse Dora. I'm always doing that...

Phew dora, glad you found it! :T :T

I'm currently drumming fingers waiting for spaghetti to boil so I don't spoil slimming world thing by stuffing in, well, actually, there's nothing to stuff in other than weetabix :rotfl: :rotfl: I suppose that's the advantage of not buying biscuits - you can't eat them! :rotfl:

(((Marru))) what a nasty piece of work some, thankfully not all, exes can be. Well done for being at the cool and calm stage of life where he's concerned, I could do with taking a leaf out of your book for the next time whenever that may be, that I do battle with my twonky ex.

Crickett - I was inspired by your hoovering plans and instead of ironing just one t-shirt for my trip to my parents, did the whole bally lot! Most unlike me.....but did make the "utility" corner of the kitchen look a lot better. Just the rest of the house to tidy/clean/declutter now!!

I've decided on two new projects for once I've sat my exam on 27th June: learn a new language and sort out the s&dding house so I can try and sell it for megabucks and move into a house that will be our forever home. Still in the same village so DD can continue at her fabulous school, but more suited for me and my bad back/leg days....will need to be creative with my finances to save a gazillion pounds to pay for the work that needs to be done and for a larger deposit on another house.

Maru, I am so sorry about what has happened. And frankly I cannot think of anything to say or advise aexcept think of you and DD (he is doing her no favours either).

Today I just slept, I am afraid...oh and read a bit. I was on my way to win 'best !!!!!' competition is there were any around. For sometime I have been thinking why people nervously pace around instead of nervously going to bed. So, today I decided to go to bed nervously.

It may be full moon, though...

In a bit OH and I will watch a movie - I joined Love Film and till now I have ordered only really bad movies let's see what has arived today.
