Thanks for your replies guys, it really helps to put my life into perspective - I have been thinking that I don't have to work on much as my scoring on the Wheel of Life was overall quite high. My attitude and career came it at a 9 and the rest were 7's and 8's.

I know I am very lucky at 30 to have most of my life pretty much sorted but it has taken hard work and determination, very much helped by the fact I had my son when I was 15 and felt that I had to prove to everyone I had not c0cked my life up.

I am not sure why I have such a positive attitude to life, I am so glad I do though as with my DH's depression it would be a nightmare if we were both negative people.

The only not so good thing in my life is DH's head pain which he has had since January, he is having acupuncture on a weekly basis and it is making a tiny bit of difference every week so I am hopeful that in the future he wil be able to come off his medication for pain and just have acupuncture.

I am going to set my day's to concentrate on things - I mentioned this on my diary the other week and never got back to it so I will do this later.

Have done all my planned things for today except the pub meal so now going to settle down to watch some TV.

I've been doing battle trying to download MS Office 2007 from M*soft. Three times I have downloaded it and three times it has refused to launch. I am stumped. I have the Product Key and everything.

Ah well - never was the techie one.

We have just had a fantastic thunder storm - and DS2 and sat at the open door watching the rain pelt down in stair-rods. He was fascinated, although the cats are hiding under the beds.

Just settling down with a Winnie the Pooh Video

How about downloading Open Office - does all that MS Office does and is free. At least temporary till the Guy from the Shop instals it.

MG - remember I have a LOT more weight than you to lose - and on that vein - I have bought Wii Zumba today.......

OMG - I'm as co-ordinated as an table & so far can't even get the first step right - feel a right tube & even DH is banned from the living room while I prance around like an eejit (still trying to master the first step) but hey - it'll be worth it once I can master them moves & then with my new sylph-like figure I can cut up the dance floor a treat :p

DH is away making chilli & red pepper soup but has put too much chilli in it - but as we're good MSErs we'll eat it anyway - I might as well live up to my name as a fire-breathing dragon :D

Weird old day here as dh was feeling grumpy and not fathers dayish at all - he has spent every fathers day up till this year out adventuring (grown men dressing up as knights and stuff) but this year he is going off it so we felt under pressure to make him have a good day. He wasn't interested in the slightest and I got so narked at him I took the kids out for the afternoon to play in a different park to usual, while he fell asleep on sofa!

So having very untraditional pizza for tea before starting on school planning. Am going to plan just one days work for class then have serious sit down with myself and plan the week/month/life ahead cos lots of things are annoying me atm and I feel a list coming on.

Am loving the blog MG and it is making me think which is always good - today in the park was our marble moment (yesterday was too busy)

Well me and the brood are home, tired, windswept and very happy. Decided at last minute to attend an Air Show :D I do love things that go REALLY fast :D Had a great time, have made lots of memories with the kids and it was something we all enjoyed (a rarerity these days :o) - although DD wasn't too keen on the noisy jets but wouldn't keep her ear defenders on all the time. So having a quick slummy mummy tea of something on toast :o and then hopefully early nights for the kids and me and H can settle down to watch Case Histories :D

Sunflower - OUCH! Hope arm is feeling better soon xxx

Can you get DH to temper it with some natural yogurt, or quark, or even mashed potato to take the edge off?

I'm having spinach gnocchi in chunky tomato sauce and green beans.................. thing is I'm not hungry yet, which is most unlike me. Mind you I have filled up on loads of veggies today so I will leave dinner for a wee while.
