  • Hello friends! Just dropping in to say, how well you're all doing - MG has her mojo back after being so unwell, and Fantasia got her confirmation that the dreaded weed is no longer a pleasure! And is doing amazingly well - new job and smoke-free, and sounding really positive, what a woman :A

Hello to Cheery, ClootiesMum, EH, FW, Cherisong, Claire, crickett and everyone else.... such progress is being made by so many - it is so heartening...

Positive news from here... house has been viewed by about 8 lots of people, 3 lots like it but they all need to sell too. This week I have found the perfect place for me, about 13 miles closer to where MG is than I am at present, and almost into her county. It is also closer to my work by a good 7 miles.

So I'm stepping up the vibes for a good sale and the perfect new owner for this place, asap please Universe! So I can then make a reservation on the new place (it is a new build - small but perfectly formed). And visualising the aforementioned viewers selling their places well too, then hopefully there will be lots of happy buyers and sellers once it has all come to pass! Please guys, can you add to the vibes and help work some Matrix magic for me?!

I have withdrawn from the OU course, too much going on to get my head round it, and what a relief. It wasn't difficult, just very time consuming and my head isn't in the right place for it just now. So that's me mentally de-cluttered for the time being. The house is looking fab after all the weeks and weeks of chucking things out, and taking stuff to auctions and charity shops - it was a huge task but now everything that is in the house is there because it is needed or wanted. The sense of order and calm is VERY pleasing! And helps to have it approx 5 mins from viewing-ready on a routine basis, too.

Wow, I've just seen a pipistrelle bat flit past my window, dusk is very late tonight of course. This definitely not the first midsummer I am still in winter clothes and taking not one but two hot water bottles to bed! But have managed to keep the heating off since early May.

Now the OU course is overboard I hope to be a more active part of the Matrix again. The first half of this year was a real challenge but the future's looking good :).

Here's to a good week ahead for everyone,

Welcome back GQ - so glad to hear that things are flowing your way. I have been thinking of you every time I runa bag of stuff to the Charity Shop as my home begins to get a little clearer too.

You can always pick the OU course up again later - but just imagine that when you do you will be doing it from your desk in your lovely new build - energy, efficient central heating, double glazing and cavity wall all done and dusted.

Come on ladies - we've done this before, loads of postive chain moving vibes for our friend here.

    ................... and then a housewarming:j

Been up for a while - but just been on the phone to my Mum who is taking DS1 off for a day in Edinburgh to see the Camera Obscurer?? and the Science Museum.

This is part of my big Frog - as I've asked her to get my Dad to put my timber order in for DS2's new room. He is going to do that at 8am on his way to work and I should take delivery tomorrow morning. So I whisked upstairs and laid old curtains over the carpet in the guest room to make sure I had somewhere to store the materials. Not looking forward to moving the plasterboard on my own though.

Second froggie is to track down the plumber who is gong to extend the hot and cold feeds under the floor for the new bathroom and run a piece of pipe in for the new radiators.

When the pipes are in and the materials onsite - we will be good to go.

I hear a little one stirring

    Morning you lovely lot :D

Sun is out here and I shall need it after a disturbed sleep. DD woke, we swapped beds and then the killer cat was jumping all over the place in her bedroom  Next time we go out I shall shut her out for the day as it was far too obvious that she'd been cooped up all day in the house.

Going to tackle some housework frogs today whilst DD is at pre school. Gone out of the window is my usual mantra of "I don't have enough time" to be replaced with "I have all the time in the world". It's still all part of my negative dialogue that I am looking to replace with something else.
Other frog is to ring builder about the conservatory and find out when he can start it. If it's going to be the summer holidays then I am afraid I will have to defer it til September. I can't CM with kids here all day and have building work going on

Anyway need to head off to get ready. Just made lunches etc so trying not to get stuck into the drama of a last minute rush :o

GQ - Sending you lots of lovely house selling and moving vibes your way :D
