Thanks jenid - funny how many members of the "lose 3 stone" team there are - LOL
Claire hon - pop over the other side and have a look - back with more later.
Breakfast was HUGE!!!!!!!!
Dry Fried potatoes, poached egg, tomato and HM baked beans ...................... a proper "Builders Breakfast" - but all still low fat and according to my rules. Certainly won't feel like snacking this morning.

Got back from my week away just over a week ago and it's taken time to catch up! Lots of ups and downs for everyone so hugs and positive vibes to all.
Clairewop, I agree with Cheri that there has been a big change in your confidence levels since we first met you - it's really heartwarming. I'm loving the bags btw.
Crickett, congratulations on sending off the portfolio. You too have come a long way since we first met you and you have inspired me to get some help to clear the way so I can move on too.
Fantasia, fabulous news that you are now a non-smoker! Yippee! Hopefully when your OH notices how much more energy you have he will follow suit in his own time.
Welcome to the world, Charlie-Joe Parsnip! Congratulations to mum and dad too.
MG, congratulations on the new blog. I will have a look at it this week, and also catch up on the other side.
I started keeping a food diary last Tuesday and it has thrown up some useful lightbulb moments. OH came over on Saturday and kindly batch cooked some lentil stews etc to put in the freezer for the days when I am too tired to cook.
He's also coming over today to help me clear my office of the piles of paperwork which although have been gradually decreasing over the past year are still preventing me from getting on with my life. So, blitz day today. Will report in later as to how we get on.Decluttering Awards: 🏅🏅0 -
Morning
Welcome back oceanspirit!
Difficult one with blog targets MG - always hard to control other people!I *read* lots of blogs, but don't subscribe to any of them
I'm just wayward like that
One thing I have found (by accident!) is that commenting on other peoples blogs with a cheery/interesting/informative comment always lands me up a few new people reading mine - but I can imagine that can be a burden if you're actively doing it to fish for new readers (and it feels a bit insincere when you say it like that!). Good luck
Busy day here, but at least it won't be a dull one0 -
Oooh, and I made lots of cheery progress on my 18 month plan yesterday :T :T :T All excited now! :T0

Well done on the blog MG it looks great. As for subscribers, I don't know how fast the take up should be but I'm sure things will pick up pretty fast! I too have subscribed, but so far have not received any email updates, is there anyway to check the subscription thing is working properly? You don't want to lose out on any subscribers!
Hope you have a good Monday all.
Sorry I'm forgetting my manners
Welcome baby parsnip
Fantasia - well done on the non-smoking:T
Weather 'orrid up here too MG - hope it clears later I've just realised I have hairdresser this afternoon.
Right muesli scoffed. Better get something done (start with a coffee) Why didn't I think of FW when I woke up at 5.30 and get up instead of drifting off again:mad:0 -
Just to add I haven't recieved an email - like it says - I've also signed up twice - I wondered if it would say that I was lready subscribed but it didnt...2020 Mortgage-Free Wannabes #20 £1495.03/£2760 OP0

Sorry I was in a bit of a rush earlier. Baby Parsnip welcome to the world, may it be filled with fun, love and laughter for you and your family.
MG are you on facebook much? I've noticed one of my friends on there has links to her blog update posted on her wall/status and that's how I started reading her blog, I'm sure she's got a quite a few new readers this way. Might be worth thinking about setting this up?
Ok now off to try and move the DVD player upstairs so I can try and squeeze in an exercise DVD at some point. Can't do it downstairs in the living room as there's no curtains down there and I think it would freak the neighbours out!0 -

So spread the world to all your mates - recipe books available to those who's info I have on the blog - that's the fairest way I think to cluster the people who are interested. My mate who does SW says they are SW Green compliant (mostly) and has been cooking along a day behind me.
BTW two days in I have 32 subscribers - is that good? What target should we set for the end of the month? Can you tell I am not really sure how fast these things go or how to start making contact with people who this might help. I know that FB and twitter can but I am not au fait with either so will look today at setting a few days aside to get them off and rolling too.
And most importantly - although I have gone back through the past threads and picked out stuff we have covered or been interested in. does anyone have a burning desire that they would love some help with. Is there something you would love to learn, do, experience that we can help with? Now with the bloggie blog we will have space to fully explore stuff without stepping on toes.
Brrrr!!! Need that second cup of coffee soon. Even the cat is on my lap getting cosy............. and I think I hear little people stirring.
Back soon

Morning Matrixettes!
I have just caught up on the weekend chats! Congratulations parsniphead and welcome to the world to your little sprout!MG, your blog is brilliant, and I have subscribed, and enjoyed reading your blog posts already. I would LOVE to read a recipe/storecupboard book from you.
Hugs to those that need them, cheers for all who need them and positive vibes for everyone.
I have just sent a cheeky email to my boss asking if I can work from home tomorrow. If you don't ask, you don't get right? I have several pieces of work which are in the right place for completion, and this place is too loud and annoying to get them done. So... I have asked if I can take the day at home instead of asking for leave. I have this feeling that she is going to refuse. I wonder what her grounds are going be? Bearing in mind she has let the cowbag work from home all the time and she does it herself as well.Oh well... hopefully she will say yes!
I had a lovely weekend. Not so great on the food and exercise front, but a lot better than I have been in the past. Had a fantastic time at the Cinema on Friday, the Parish BBQ on saturday and singing at the big Confirmation Mass yesterday! I had 3 solos and nailed them all!!I am tired now though.
