    Greebee,

now this is serious. What kind of tummy ache? Is it the 'I have just had invasive procedure done and still cannot sit still so I over did it' kind of pain? If it is then, you should turn on your side (one of them hurts less depending on where the scaring is) and keep still. Imagine the area where it is hurting cool blue...and take a painkiller.

Just ordinary recovery tummy ache. The consultant told me that I need to remember that although I can't see it, he actually did quite a lot of work in there and it needs to heal. As long as I don't have a temperature then he's happy that there isn't a problem, but I need to give it time to recover. I keep forgetting about painkillers as my pain threshold is very high and I don't generally take them for anything that I consider to be discomfort rather than pain (I have sports massage... she's told me exactly how high my tolerance for pain is :p) but I am using a hot water bottle. Basically I'm just a crap patient... I don't do ill and have far too many other things I would rather be getting on with.

I'm also badly missing exercise, and worrying that I'll get out of the habit. And made brownies yesterday to deal with the stress and CBA to cook/eat anything else now :o

Erm... relaxing... i've been reading... lying in the garden when the sun shines... but one of the things that's stressing me is all the stuff that's not getting done (this is a regular stress-maker), so I need to put strategies in place. I think I might need to find a gardener and cleaner (but finding good, reliable ones who understand the concept of working from home isn't easy). And start planning on how to catch up on work...

Congratulations Crickett, and I'm SURE it will be the most fabulous portfolio anyone has ever seen and be used in future as an example of what people should aim for...

    Greenbee, Fantastic news :)

Well I managed to un jam the machine, put a new needle in, started sewing needle snapped :( this happened 3 times before I managed to finish sewing the lining to the bag.

Just need to sort the problem out on the big bag now then that's another one finished :) I accidentley nicked the bottom of the hem of the flap when I was cutting off the excess turn, so need to disguise it some how, Plus cause it was a panel skirt I used the material is too thick in some places to be able to turn and sew the fabric into straps so I need an alternative.

Have had 3 hour sleep.Never want to see anything to do with muscles ever again: colouring them in at 6 am is not my idea of fun. 3 hours sleep, one interview, one exam, one handing in of coursework and two clients before I can get some more.

Working on portfolio. Have til about 12.30. So much to do, so little time. :(

Positive vibes for the interview at 2pm, please, guyettes!
