    Sunflower, poor thing. Hope you got everything done that you needed to.

    Ate well yesterday. Two boiled eggs mashed up with salad cream for brekkie, ham and cottage cheese followed by natural yoghurt at lunch and lamb steak and veg for dinner. DID have 3 slices of my lovely home made bread but a good effort overall. Same brekkie and lunch today and tonights tea is HM pasta sauce with pasta and meatballs.

    Going in early to relook my shopfloor and hope to get finished early too. Will make that call this aft so thanks so much for all your kind wishes yesterday. Time for shower and glamourising now and then need to do some 'polishment' this evening ie bath, toenails, eyebrows etc. It's like maintaining the Forth Road Bridge!!!

    Have a good one y'all X

    Its a great idea getting DS1 to send his own letter - will get him to fire off an email and attached Mind Map today as we are cutting it a bit fine for a leter to Jack.

    BTW I know him so last nights email wont be considered a hoax at all - but very great point about his other chosen Mentors.

    DS2 is at playgroup today and DS1 wants to start his vision board, so I have looked up the scissors and glue so that we can BOTH get to work on our boards again.

    First I'm going to have a wander through the garden and a quick weed whilst finishing my coffee.

    You will let me know if we hear from Parsnip won't you?

    Well despite the extravangances of last week - visitors, AP food order and trip to Chinese supermarket combined with last week being the week that ALL my DD's come out I have managed to make a payment to my Freedom Fund of a whole £4.00:rotfl:

    Still its £4.00 closer to my DFD and £4.00 I will never have to pay interest on every again.

    My garden is flourishing - I just wish we had more of it under cultivation now, perhaps next year. - although I promise to be more careful of my back.

    Off to change my signature

    Cheri, how fantastic, well done you.

    Cheery, so pleased that your boss could see what we all do

    Souk, vibes still on their way for this afternoon

    Also for MG DS

    Came home last week to wasps in several room, so many that we thought we had a nest in the chimney. Someone coming to see today, but haven't seen one since then, going to be a funny conversation:o

    ~~~~~Positive vibes for Greenbee and Sunflower and lots of other people too. ~~~~~ MG, it is SUCH a good idea to get your DS1 involved in the Secret so early on in his life. I can honestly say that my life would be sooooo different if I had known about it earlier.
    Well, cowbag has come in. Removed the balloons and the items from her desk and said nothing. No thank you, anyway. How incredibly rude. Oh well. She is talking to me, so she can't hate it too much!!
    I am doing battle with the spreadsheet from hell today... and as a break from that, i will be taking my portfolio to be copied and bound at the University print room. Hopefully I will be able to send it tomorrow or Friday and then....well, I just have to wait until September 17th (my birthday!) for the results!! :D
    Tonight I am going to get my dressmaking form down from the loft and get my measurements dialled in. I have some material and a sundress pattern which I am going to have a play with. It cannot be beyond the wit of man (or me) to do this! :D Plus, I have a church party on Saturday that I want to look good for, so if I can make the dress (the pattern is very simple apparently!) before then... that would be super cool. I just hope I can remember what to do with each bit and each section of the commercial pattern! It has been... OMG! Nearly 20 years since I did any dressmaking at all.
    Right then ladies. Off to do battle with my all singing, all dancing planning model. When it all works, it is going to be excellent. But getting it to work is the tricky bit! :D
    Good morning,
    Well Last night I managed to Jam the sewing machine :( trying to sew the lining of the bag to the jeans waistband :( So thats my frog this morning trying to free the bag from the machine without damaging it.
    I have tidied dining table so I can see what is what, although I need a bigger basket or something to put the material in now as the one I have got is over flowing, I have a £10 Argos gift voucher so I'll look there. Next door gave me a lovely pink and white check duvet a thomas the tank duvet and a check sheet to cut up yesterday, My friend has found old clothes I can use and some bedding too.
    Living room cleaned hoovered and floors washed, dining room floor hoovered and washed.
    WM on
    Kitchen cleaned (just floor sweeping and washing)
    Then its a shower for me
    Sort out clothes upstairs put in respective rooms and make my bed.
    Then the rest of the day is mine :)
    Greenbee hope everything goes well today and the results are positive :)
    Greenbee - Positive vibes for you
    Cricket - Go girl, you will be free of the bl**dy woman for 3 whole weeks
    Sunflower - Hope you got finished and good luck for your interview
    TMIF - Also been there and very much agree with Robsmum's comment about taking each other for granted, v.easy to do and difficult to get out of. Baby steps maybe? as the 'slip' happens mm by mm, could the route to salvation be the same thing (in a different direction?) :) I just know that if you keep don't the same thing, you will get the same result (and in my case it was angry and bitter amongst other things - not a good look I can tell you!!!)
    Cheri - Well done!!!
    Claire - Take it easy with the machine, even if you have broken a needle as long as you go careful it should be fixable and go more slowly over the layers of denim next time ...
