Thanks for all the vibes...They obviously worked - no malignant cells, so no hysterectomy. Six months of hormone treatment (slides being looked at elsewhere to decided whether pills or mirena) for abnormal cells then fingers crossed it will all be sorted. So no thinking about making babies for 6 months either.... Wich gives me time to either sort OH out or find an alternative solution :p

Walked into the village (5 mins) and had my legs waxed, then walked back and am now worn out which is very frustrating. So I need to get on with some bits from my frog list... Phone calls to find tree surgeons, someone to paint the outside of the windows.

Additional frogs include deciding on tiles for the bathroom, as well as lights and a cabinet, and then ordering them; finding someone to help with the garden; checking whether I can still get the flooring I have in the hall and kitchen; finding someone who can lay the floor; deciding on what to do about the upstairs floors; getting the ceilings skimmed; finding a decorator; getting some help with the garden; finding someone to help finish the utility room.

Oh... And get back on track with work somehow...

    ... And housework...

Anyone want a job as my housekeeper/project manager/PA?

I knew it! Great news, Greenbee. And I am serious that I knew - everytime I saw you in my mind's eye there was a blue halo around you. And I am aware exactly how wacky this sounds but it also means that I probably should start trusting my intuition (and 'seeing') a bit more.

Just popping by to see whether there was any news - and I'm delighted to see that there is, from Greenbee - and that it is precisely the news we were all asking the universe for! :j Brilliant news - so pleased for you! As for the virtual PA, that is effectively what I do so if you need any hints or pointers for how best to organise everything you have to do, let me know! :D

Heavingly busy here already this morning (I have a days paid work today so am office-bound all day) and not looking likely to let up.....! *sighs* Oh well - fingers crossed that *might* mean an extra day or so coming up before too long!

given how useless OH is being ATM I might need suggestions as to how I achieve the next step! One thing, however, that I have learned from here is not to be afraid to go it alone...

Would DS1 like postcards when I'm travelling to add to his boards? They may not all get posted from the right country, but if he'd like them, get him to email me with what he wants to know about each place. And if he can get as far as new zealand he must go swimming with the dolphins off Kaikoura!

For years I resisted the thought of being a single mum - but if I honest it has been the making of me. I have found strengths and talents that only my two boys could have released in me. As to whether I am a "Good" mum and my boys are OK - time will tell. BUt a lovely man told me "They are a dredit to you" this week.

That would be brilliant - he is sitting at the kitchen table with scissors and piles of pictures singing "Your wish is my Command" - it is a joy to see him so happy and focused.

What do you do to relax hon? Stress is the killer (of so many things) ............ maybe find something less stressfull on your body to relax with over the next few weeks - hypno, guided visualisation, meditation, relaxing music. A spa for your mind and tummy aches and head aches float away.

BTW I am NOT good at meditation and sitting still -but have trained myself to do a guided visualisation mehtod that when I practice it is worth an extra three hours sleep a day.

    Greebee,

now this is serious. What kind of tummy ache? Is it the 'I have just had invasive procedure done and still cannot sit still so I over did it' kind of pain? If it is then, you should turn on your side (one of them hurts less depending on where the scaring is) and keep still. Imagine the area where it is hurting cool blue...and take a painkiller.

Where do I find this one and how do I master it? It would be great to have three extra hours of sleep without sleep. How long does the guided meditation take?

YAY Greenbee,... that is wonderful news! :D:D:D:D:D

Have just spent an hour in the University print shop getting my portfolio copied and bound. I now have four copies of a very large, rather impressive, professional looking portfolio. I hope the board of examiners agrees and gives me a brilliant mark for it.

*Universe, I have passed this portfolio with flying colours. I have also received an award from my professional body for the best portfolio they have ever seen. My boss is really, really jealous and I get recognition from the Director of Finance of the University for it. * Well... if I am putting in an order to the Universe, I may as well make it a big one! :D

I am going to send it off tomorrow - assuming I can find a big enough envelope... and then have enough money to pay the EXTORTIONATE cost of the postage. I am sending it recorded delivery I think... or the one where they have to sign for it at the other end. :D

Right... back to doing battle with my spreadsheet. I understand how Dr Frankenstein felt!! I created this thing... and it is now a nightmare!! :D
