Get some ice on it, will help reduce any imflammation and take some ibuprophen (sp?). If it's your lumbar region sitting will only make it more uncomfortable so perhaps try squatting or lying on your back with your legs supported at 90 degree angle. Can you tell I have issues with my lower back :rotfl:

Thanks am taking ibuprofen but it isn't touching it today - am helping run the holiday club at church so am using heat pad to keep me moving - I definitely agree with the not sitting down which is why my school reports are taking forever as I can only do a few mins without getting nangy. Might try a cold pad tomorrow cos saw them in shop tonight - anything to keep me moving. Got to be able to move and groove at Take That on Friday:j

Unfortunately, the weigh in news is not good. Since last weeks weigh in, I have put on 4 pounds. So the weigh in on Saturday was not that far off. :( On the upside, I have lost 1 pound since Saturday. :) I think I have lost inches though, as my skirts and tops and trousers are all fitting me much better than this time last week. I am not going to give up, but I did feel really hacked off last night. Especially as i now weigh 1 pound more than I did when I started. Which seriously sucks. However... the exercise is also making me feel so much better I am gonig to continue with that - I did 50 lengths of the pool last night and then rewarded myself with a jolly good steam in the steam room! It was lovely! Food wise I did quite well too... we had a homemade paella last night with chorizo and prawns and tomatoes and onion and peppers and risotto rice. Scrummy!! :D No food eaten yet this morning, so I am going to pop down to the ref later on and grab something (hopefully) healthy. Lunch is yet to be decided and I am having a meal out with hubby tonight before going to a choral concert, so am going to try and be good there too. :D

Got lots of work to do today. I am glad I did the to do list yesterday as it has given me focus - and I have a lot to get done. So... off to the grindstone this lovely sunny morning! :D:D:D:D Positive vibes to everyone.

See Crickett it's the inches that matter NOT the scales. So please try not to get disheartened, you are doing really well xxx

Dorastar - Hmmmm tried squatting? OK it's not the most ladylike position but it takes the stress off your back. Enjoy Take That xx

Souk - I might actually see if I can shoe horn your mums saying into my sig, it's a very good point :)

Claire - can't wait to see some pics :)

Well done to all of your and your healthy eating. Mine I confess has fallen by the wayside, H was given a load of chocolate for doing favour for someone and it keeps calling me :o Can you freeze chocolate bars??

Got a lousy cold, taking 4 kids to the park this morning so looking forward to soaking up some sunshine :D got a load of ebay items to parcel up this evening (the most tedious job in the world :o).

Have a great day whatever you're doing.

Crickett - We keep telling you, don't weigh yourself! Focus on getting fit and being healthy, and think about how you feel.

Personally I'm feeling lethargic and sluggish and fed up. I ws feeling very positive this morning and planning on going for a walk before work. I've done lots of email filing over breakfast, washed up (not much) and loaded the DW... And am now back in bed with tummy ache :( i suppose thinking about going for a walk is progress though!

No client calls till this afternoon, so there is still time to have a snowier and dress and maybe sit in the garden a bit later.

Bitsy - not only can you freeze chocolate, but you can eat it frozen. It just takes longer...

    Morning! Brighton tomorrow - whoop!

However we all know that a day off means twice as much work on the day before you go! How true that is today!

I seem to have got myself involved in a political fight over the implementation of web-expenses. Meetings! Joy

Also, I have to do this month's payroll today, because I won't be here tomorrow, and half the peope who usually submit timesheets haven't! I hope payroll will let me send the rest on Monday :D

And finally - my computer decided last night was a good time to update to Office 2010! Brilliant. I don't remember it warning me, so I haven't backed up my archive emails. All gone. Wonderful!

Happiness reigns in TMIFville today! I want to go home now and hide in the garden :D

Keep smiling everyone, I intend to be home by Midnight :-|

    Hi Matrixettes.
Cricket, keep away from the scales and focus on the fact that waistbands are getting looser, its a well known fact that when you are excercising and eating healthily, new muscle is formed, and this is heavier than what you are trying to lose, its a conversion thing as well as a loss.

Have been laid up with the mother and father of all chest infections all week. Cant breathe, choked up with mucous, doc prescribed 1500 mls of antiobiotics a day along with 8 steroids and I'm sstill struggling for oxygen and its the 2nd week of new job, so it doesnt look good that I havent been there all week. Just feeling pig awful (sorry for myself).

Positive vibes for everyone who needs them. have a great day'all

    xx

Apparently you can eat frozen chocolate, well chocolate brownies at least. I learnt the hard way my DH could eat a whole double batch of brownies in under 24 hours, so came up with the brainwave of freezing them in individual portions to go in his lunch box for an occasional treat. Yep you guessed it, went to the freezer a week later and the freezer was bare. He seemed quite proud of himself, he'd managed to eat the lot from frozen!

MG hope you have a lovely time with your guests. We have ours arriving tomorrow for a long weekend. I can't seem to keep on top of the housework/DIY/building dust control as it is at the moment, so I am trying to keep my feelings of anxiety at the prospect of visitors under control.

Breathing deeply and taking it 15 minutes at a time. BBB just gone to bed for an hour or so, so time to crack on.

    Have a great weekend everyone.
