Hey Greenbee have you seen this website http://www.seat61.com/Europe-train-travel.htm. You can definitely do Munich home it would be Munich to Paris (can do the sleeper train) then eurostar to London. I always book with OBB or Oebb (German and Austrian rail) as you can get much better deals than booking with Seat 61.They are good for planning how to do the journeys though. They give links to each countries train companies too. Hope that helps.

Just spoke with solicitor on the phone, got really good advise. Will use her in the future as the saga is likely to continue. Now I know what the plan B will be and can implement it. :T

Also have made a decision in relation to my career. Put a post on the other side and GB - thanks will take on that offer. I think some mind mapping is in place first :)

Lol about toothfairy. I made a toothfairy post into my blog only yesterday. You just can't get the staff these days ;) :rotfl:

Bitsy - I am still ok about tomorrow afternoon. Can you please email me the best time?

Staretd day off well but then started slumping again so am  with self. Roof man came and fixed roof for less than all quotes and nder insurance excess so very happy, then builder (family friend) came to assess wall and it defintely needs replacing before the winter. He has gone away to cost the job but was very nice and knew exactly what he was saying and even gave us options relating to next doors bit of wall and how he can price their part of it.

Dh is working till midnight tonight so plan to get round to all the stuff I've failed to do today while he's out.

Chiropractor is on holiday next week so got to wait and try to fit in an appointment round work = virtually impossible at the moment :(

    Thanks Cheri :D

Just need to persuade OH that the train journey home will be more relaxing than flying, even if it does take longer. And then be mean and make our travel service book it :p

Just a quick update as I've just seen next door's 10 wk old pup & want to swap Tora.....

Kittikins - bummer news from the consultant - & I hope that action now can control the pain. But look on the bright side - at least any op will be done while we still have an NHS & at the issues have been picked up early.......I'm not being trite but I as you are doing all you can at the moment then you can also take any action needed to mitigate any further problems or issues.....

FW - such good news for you, it must be a great relief

And Claire - so it took an abscess to get help from DH - bit drastic but he is helping out so he understands - this is good & remember - we all have tempers & blips so he must have been going through one recently...

MG - would post-chiropractor be OK? If pre is better let me know but post would let me do housey things & then feel self-righteous when I'm out...

Anyhow - must pop off at the moment - will catch up later

But not until I say - 4 items for sale & over 100 watchers - go me...... never done this before but I believe this is GOOOODDDDDD

I wouldnt call that mean. It is one of my favourite pastimes. I love booking trips for people. I haven't done the overnight from Munich but Mr C and his friends do it every year to go skiing, they no longer fly as they say it so much more relaxing, and they get an extra days skiing in.

I think with all this talk of trains I am going to listen to Johny Cash. Do not shoot me - I just feel a bit sorry for myself, that's all.

Evening Matrix. I have some wonderful, lovely, fabulous news. After feeling very sorry for myself at lunchtime i decided to munch that frog and get on with it. I have completed all of the portfolio.

I have done the corrections, I have composed my other bits, I have numbered all the pages. I have done the title page, the table of contents, and everything. Including evidence, the portfolio runs to 217 pages. Yes, you read that right. 217 bogging pages. I just need to run off all the written bits, show my boss the bits she needs to approve and sign and then I can get the flipping thing printed and send it off. I do need to go back to the General Overall Reflection and the other parts, but it is so near done I can smell it.

And I have also been chomping froggies at home. Menu and shopping list done for the next week. Shopping done and fridge and cupboards stocked and looking marvellous. Dinner cooked and eaten (and not horribly bad for me!) and a glass of lovely cider drunk and a cup of earl grey on the way. I now need to whislte round with the the duster and polish and the hoover and then I can go to bed a very, very happy woman.

Thank you to all of you on here. You have been a constant support and cheerleading squad (as well as the purveyors of fine kicks up the bahookie when needed). You are wonderful. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Oh and the best bit? I hope to get my portfolio done and sent off before the end of June. 2 whole months in advance. :D Thank you all again. Have a fantastic weekend guys!
