Morning Matrix. Dragged my sorry backside into work today though feel like heading straight back to bed. Suspect it is my own fault. We had fish, chips and mushy peas for dinner last night. I think this feeling of tiredness and general eurgh-iness might be my body telling me to stop eating crud and eat properly. Hmmm. Might start listening.

Going to work on my portfolio again today - make my corrections and start to sort out the page numbers and stuff so they make sense. I also need to read the information from my professional body again. I don't want to get to the end just to find that my formatting is off and I need to go back and do it all again. But my biggest job today is going to be keeping my eyes open. *YAWN*

Tricia, you are totally fab. Marru - we are all behind you. :D Good Luck.

Oh, anyone got a pattern for a satchel? They are soooo in at the minute! :)

Sadly not off the top of my head. My H has seen a "man" bag he likes aka a leather satchel so he requested I make one :rotfl: Sadly this old sewing machine can't cope with stuff like leather so he'll have to go buy his own [STRIKE]handbag[/STRIKE] man bag ;)

Not sure if there is a pattern amongst this lot I am afraid I have a headache this morning and scrolling through that list is making my eyes hurt :o

Have a wonderful day everyone :)

    Hi Matrix,

TMIF, no they're very reliable. I will get paid on Tuesday but I had just been ever hopeful that it might have gone in today because of the BH but it hasn't. Anyway got plans to do lots of cleaning and tidying today and off to my friends for dinner tonight. Also going to the Dr's this morning as my skin has been a bit itchy for a wee while and I need a steroid to sort it. Ive always had bits and bobs of excema and its back at the moment so need it away.

Marru - I hear you on the single mother thing, my bosses are usually amazingly flexible with me but when they want me to go to another office they don't understand that I need to plan it and some days are just impossible due to DD's after school activities. I know my priorities and give them their pound of flesh usually.

Tricia - it's actually my ankle that's knackered and then the top of the fibula broken and when the physio asked me to put my leg straight she said hmm that's quite confusing isn't it, your ankle turns one way and your knee the opposite!! After doing the exercises last night I felt so much better and bendy. I'm having to learn a 'new' way of walking as well as apparently I've been doing it all wrong for years and will be causing myself hip problems!! Grrrrrr to the previous treatment and yay to my bright new sparkly future :):)

My muesli doesn't seem to have hit the spot this morning, I'm starving already!

have a cup of tea or a glass or water. If you're still hungry after that have an apple.

Glad the physio can sort you out KK! :T :T

    Thinking of you Marru

Lots of people tackling lots of things today! I'm going to join you - have come into the office for 3rd day in a row (usually work from home 3 days a week). Legs feel like lead - think it might be my new tablets :o I'm alright once I'm sitting down! So may well treat myself to a bus back to the station tonight rather than a 45 min walk (which will probably be nearer an hour since I'm going so slowly!)

Here by myself, so may well keep popping in for company... :D

Had a busy time over the last couple of weeks, have caught up a bit however am going away on holiday early tomorrow morning for a week so need to prioritise today to do the most important things plus get packed as there's no way I'm doing it in the morning.

When I get back from my holiday I will join in the food diary - my nutritionist has changed my plan and when I get the next lot of test results through it will probably be adjusted again so I'm in a bit of a pickle at the moment getting used to the changes.

Another project when I get back is to work out whether it is worth me buying a new car or not (my old one is going to the scrapyard today, boo hoo!).

Tricia - loved your post last night!

Marru - will be sending you positive vibes for your court hearing.

Kittikins - am so glad you have at last found someone who can help you sort out your leg properly.

Fantasia - fabulous news re your new job.
