Hi all and Happy Birthday to Claire.
Currently having a nightmare on Ebay with people messaging me about a Buy It Now, so I put one on and now someone's bid - argh so confusing! No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -

I have had a lovely day, went to the pub with my mates, got bought my meal of steak, chips, mushrooms, onion rings and garlic bread with cheese on. Plus 2 cokes to drink, then I went to meet mum off the bus, went to hers had a new pair of shoes, tracksuit bottoms, socks, and new jammies. plus a few nik nacs.
Came home had a drink up another mates then came home to find a birthday tea with the most delish, death by chocolate cake and 3 new topsI'm absolutely shattered now and my wisdom tooth has decided to come through.

Positive thoughts for Bitsy's Mum xxxxMortgage: 2011: 86000 - now: 499000 -
Am lovin' the mug confessions lol can't be bothered to count ours but really the only select few get used.
I did think the Universe was gonna let me down over my mums cat BUT there has been improvement. She's lapping up mushy food and trying to wash but she's not out of the woods yet. But maybe my faith in what the Universe can provide hasn't been wasted after all. Time will tell.
Just finished a tiresome frog that is my accounts. Last years now calculated and ready to be submitted. It's a job I loathe and it's always ongoing but if I keep on top it will be more manageable. Just need to crack on with my other frogs now.....I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

Glad you've had a good day claire! :T
Strangely, we don't have hundreds of mugs. If you're lucky though, I might count how many scarves we've got between us tomorrow   (or perhaps I won't :rotfl:)0 -
Lol at counting mugs. I have 6 (but then Im a bit of a tidy freak!!!!)'The road to a friends house is never long'0

Ah mugs, there is one in my house and that is me!!! NO seriously we have some everyday mugs, some mugs that are not quite special but nice enough for when people come around, then we have special mugs for people who dont come along often enough and then we have the posh mugs which are on show in the cabinet. They get washed every now and then.
Claire - glad you had a good day
Crickett - well done on getting as far as you have, the end is in sight.
MG - boudoir sounds very posh.
Bitsy - I really hope that the universe carries on looking after the kitten.
Hope that I didnt forget anybody. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -
LOL at the mug thing - we have just enough that, if everything is clean at once, the cupboard door won't quite shut!
I'm not counting them though, I'd be horrified I suspect!
I'm impressing myself with the willpower I am finding to stick to this food thing. Dinner tonight was courgette fritters with jacket spuds (MrEH had butter on his, I had that Benecol stuff I'm trialling for Bzzz - I was once again surprised how reasonable it was!) and steamed salmon. Pud was a big plate of fruit again, and I have cut up some melon & strawberries to take into work tomorrow. I fancied a bag of crisps afterwards but employed distraction techniques...!
Bitsy good news that the kitty is continuing to fight - what a determined little creature she is!
Claire Sounds like a lovely birthday - I'm glad!

Oooh, in the middle of lots and lots and lots and lots of homework. I've eaten so many frogs today that I am fit to burst!
I have two big frogs, one medium sized one and a few babies left to deal with.
Will catch up with the rest of your doings later, but I gather that the boudoir is finished from what I've quickly seen. I'm sure it's lovely. Please call me 'Pickle'

Oops, had quite a bit of bread yesterday, so much for my lofty 'only going to have fruit for snacks' ambition. oh well, the gorgeous loaf is now gone, so i just won't buy another - bread is my downfall
Did have lots of fruit as well though
And then OH bought us a chippy dinner, oh my goodness the chips were divine!!! I'm now feeling very fat and frumpy, but tomorrow is another day and after mooching about with OH and DD after school, it was lovely to just pick up a 'meal' and not have to think about cooking for us hungry lot.
MG - your bedroom sounds fab, you'll feel like a princess sleeping in there I hope
Got some frogs to eat at work today, and am actually going into the office rather than working from home, hopefully I'll report back later that I got lots done but having not been in the office for a while, I imagine I'll spend a lot of time chatting to people who'll stop by to see how I'm getting better0
