MG, he's an endocrynologist (I don't know how to spell it either :rotfl:) - never taken me for beer and a pizza though! Nice enough bloke - although at one point I nearly wallopped him - he asked what work I did, I told him and said I only worked 2 days a week, and he said 'god, that must be a pretty basic existence' (!) I'll have you know I can live perfectly happily on the income from 2 days a week of what I consider to be a very well paid job, even if my weekly salary wouldn't pay your dry cleaning bill! Grrr.
(the Liz Hurley comment came after that though, so I forgave him slightly :rotfl: :rotfl:)
Liz Hurley! But of course; this is why you looked familiar.

Sounds like a productive day by all folks :j. Big frog eaten here today - my first coat of paint is on the living room walls :j.
Dorastar - look after yourself. Hope coming off your meds doesn't put you back too much.
((((Hugs)))) to Cheery - look after yourself my lovey.
Need to sort tea - homemade macaroni cheese for the troops. For me, pasta in a tomato sauce with a smidgen of grated cheese. The problem with all this decorating is that I'm ravenous by the time I've finished which doesn't help with trying to watch what I eat. At least the house is looking so much better tho' :T.

I have just had a phone call from marie curie magazine, the lady came accross my website on google and thought my jewellery was lovely, that the readers would love it too, only thing is they want £250 for the yearTescodealqueen wrote: »Thanks for the tip. I thought that having to attend 6 other concerts before you could get Last Night Tickets was a real problem for those outside of London, but you have proved it can be done.
Also if you go for one weekend you could attend up to 4 concerts if you pick the right weekend.

Sorry I also meant to add that I hope that you get sorted soon in whatever way works out for the best. I wish I had the excuse of low brain hormones - I am just plain grumpy at the moment for no particular reason. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Tea sounds lovely MG. I had:- vegetable jalfrezi (made in slow cooker because I have been out at meetings all afternoon), basmati rice, home made vegetarian samosas and lime and mango pickle. Yum scrum.
Now sprucing myself up. Off out tonight to hear a talk by Chris Smith and his cycle UK to China I think it should be very interesting. All about how he pared down his life and spent 18 months alone cycling. I have a new notebook and a couple of sparkly gel pens to take notesMr C tells me that we are going to have a leisurely evening not to a lecture to learn things.... thats what he thinks. :rotfl::rotfl:
I haven't told him yet that I have been to the cheap supermarket to get some bottles of beer to take in rather than paying the extortionate prices in the bar there. He will  when I get them out of my bag. Oh and he has just announced that his new boss is meeting us there.............:o Hmm should I air on the cautious side and leave the beer at home then? Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons.
