Crickett - you go girl. Another one of the clan with letters after there name is what we want here.

As for the Last Night it also costs £5 but you have to have 6 ticket stubs to show when buying the ticket. You then have to register and queue up all day but that is part of the fun. I now have lifelong friends from across the Globe who I met in queues at the proms. Including a concert pianist, a doctor, a phycisist and a housewife. There can be no better way to socialise DS1 as far as I can see.

Thanks for the tip. I thought that having to attend 6 other concerts before you could get Last Night Tickets was a real problem for those outside of London, but you have proved it can be done.

Now I'm trying to think of a party theme which would get me a flash car delivered to my door :D

Do you get to keep the boat??

And I'm thinking what can I cook up that will have Gabriel Byrne wrapped and delivered to my party :rotfl::rotfl:

Not decided if I would like to keep him though:D

Decided to keep to the usual font... it's easier! :D

Am currently avoiding doing the portfolio. <applies firm boot to my own bahookie> (which when you consider it, is quite a physical feat!) :D

Being a cynic I would say - of course she loves your jewellery :D She wants to sell advertising space.

Mind you that gives me an idea - can we find a suitable publication to feature Claire and her story - home business to get off benefits kind a thing.

Only thing is - last time I even looked a a magazine it was in the Dentist's - so I would have no idea where to start.

Why are you avoiding doing it Crickett? the more you do the quicker it will get done, get back to it, or you'll have my welsh foot ap your backside lol.

Well I think I have made a booboo with the squares, I've just had the square template through the post and the template gives a 1/4" seam allowance which I haven't on my squares I just measured and cut them at 4" will it make a difference? as I really don't want to waste them.

<gives Crickett a kick up the 'arris> c'mon love don't stop now you've come so far and the end IS in sight.

£250 is a lot of money claire and like MG says she's looking to sell ad space rather than give you a helping hand (oooh am such a cynic ;))

(((Dora))))))) Poor you! Hope the 3 weeks goes by quickly xx

Crickett <glares> back to it girl, you'll thank yourself for it! :D

A few vibes wouldn't go amiss in the next few minutes ladies if you can spare any :o I had graves disease/overactive thyroid last year, they treated it with tablets, and it went away, but they do an annual blood test check up because there's quite a high chance of it coming back. Had my blood test last week, and just got a letter to ring the docs to discuss it - usually they'd send a 'your results are clear' letter if they were.

Last time, I was told if it came back, I'd either have to have my thyroid out, or radiation to remove most of it, and then take thyroid replacement tablets forever. I *know* in the grand scheme of things it's not that bad, that loads of people have to do that, and worse, but I'd rather not if possible! :o

(and I don't want to have to choose between radiation and having my throat slit - what a blithering choice! :rotfl:)

Ringing at 3pm - my doctors surgery has the most bizarre and complicated opening hours ever :rotfl:

Yes I know its a lot of money, I told her I couldn't afford it, it was only occupational therapy for me, I did however ask her how she found my website and she said it came up on google, so that's not bad anyway lol. Wonder how many pages she had to trawl through before she found my website?
