I decided to go down and make the effort. Lots of people. Scary! However… it was quite nice. The VC spoke first, then Sir Michael Parkinson and then Sir David Attenborough. To begin with I thought Sir David was going to do his incredibly irritating TV delivery style speech… but then he got so incredibly enthusiastic about it he quite raced along! :D And he got three rounds of applause!! :D He looked embarrassed by the applause to begin with and then got quite into it!! :D

Right... lunch and then onward to the portfolio

(and I am experimenting with fonts at the moment!) :D

I have been in the greenhouse to check DS2's Veg, radishes need to be seperated into bigger pots so I have started to do that, but have run out of compost, there is another bag on the decking but it is too heavy for me to lift, His onions are sprouting and peas and sweetcorn, plus broad beans :)

I like the font but it could be just a wee bit bigger pitch
It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!

Too late but it went for £200
Mind you my lovely sewing machine is a Frister & Rossman, are they even still going as a company as this thing is 34 years old

Crickett - like the font just a bit too small for me.

Honestly how hard is it to find normal straigh jeans for a 5 year old boy <rollseyes> we have skinny fit, slouch etc but no regular jeans. Why would I want to stick an already skinny lad in skinny jeans........Have sent H to Primark in Brum with instructions to get some......here's hoping he manages it.

Wow Crickett Parky as well as Sir D.A.! |What a day you're having! Good luck with cracking through the portfolio stuff this afternoon.

I've got a days paid work today - just on my lunch at the moment so thought I'd take the time to catch up. MrEH has an afternoon conference today so is likely to be late leaving the office so I have my own car today so won't have to spend an hour doing nothing later while I wait for his train. :D Means I can get home and crack on. Dinner just needs popping in the oven and I have lots of stuff to be getting on with. Need to tackle my targets and aims list as well to see what I should be working towards on there.

Now I'm trying to think of a party theme which would get me a flash car delivered to my door :D

Do you get to keep the boat??

Thanks for the positive vibes - although they worked in a very peculiar way tbh. Got to meet and chat to lovely nurse and consultant but unfortunately I need to be off my current medication for at least three weeks before they do the test or it won't prove anything (and no-one remembered this when they booked the appointment doh!) Did get to see the room and objects of doom (chair and yes basically bucket) so at least feel more reassured and the staff were absolutely lovely so have booked a new appointment for a months time.

Am a bit :( as well though cos now I have to stop the medication which is making things better in order to get worse so I can prove I am worse so they can give me something to make me better:rotfl:
