Hey up ladies. Hope all is going well today. I am feeling quite exhausted with all of my activities decluttering over the weekend but I am really pleased with the results of two rooms. One more room to go (my office) and then the garden. Yippee.

Loving all the talk of making soaps and laundry powder. I love the down to earth blog. Now perhaps that is an item to add to my June goals - to make my own soaps and laundry powder. Oh that sounds like a nice exciting project. Perhaps I should call into the charity shop on my way out to find an old pan for making it in.
Thanks for the tip on Summer Naturals - I was wondering where all these things could be bought.

Phew you lot can natter :D

Second wall painted, took another couple of hours but tis done. 25% of my frog eaten :T.

You know, I think I could do with a 60 minute-makeover - wouldn't mind someone else spending about 12k to tart up 3 of the rooms in my house. Why do they never have disasters like my ceiling paint reacting with old paste - hey ho.

Right, time to sort out the washing.

    Hugs to all, Thriftyxxx

Have not had the most productive day ever. But have managed to maintain good humour and not smack cowbag in the gob. Believe me, that is incredibly restrained of me. :D She is back from her impromptu holiday last week. No idea what it was all about, but she is a new woman this week. Still incredibly irritating though.

Have tried to get on with the remaining parts of my portfolio, but to be honest, I have had an enormous attack of the CBA's. (Can't be A*sed's). I am have prepared all the other things I need to prepare, so it won't be the end of the world if nothing else happens until the next time I have it in my diary. Wednesday I think! :D

Right...almost time for me to knock off for the day. Have to decide what to do to keep me interested for 2.5 hours until choir practice starts. Hmmmm. I need to eat somewhere... but not yet. Not quite sure what to do. I am going to think of something positive and constructive and do that! :D

    See you tomorrow folks!

I just use the bottom of my pressure cooker - or my Mums maslin pan - after all you are making soap so its not as if it's a "dirty" job :D

Rain stopped play in the garden - but DS1 has made 7 bean wigwams (bamboo and bottles) and I have planted up his 25 parsips that he has brought on from seed. I told him to plant loads as they are supposed to be a bit crappy at germinating - and all but 5 came:rotfl:. That'll teach me. They have all been watered in and covered in "coke -bottle cloches" as we have loads of snails here.

If the rain passes I will get some beans out - if not, well there is always tomorrow. He is so pleased with how it is looking, its a pleasure to work alongside him.

    And now ................... coffee ;)
