Bleeugh. MG I love food and I'll try most things but custard is something I cant even stand the smell of!

Oooh I LOVE custard, but not the skin on it <shudders> that's just a step too far :o

Made a small list of froggies this morning to tackle, just everyday stuff but I've felt a little like my "getting stuff done" mojo had gone walkabout, s'pose that's probably down to the lack of sleep last week and feeling generally carpy. However from today that all changes and I've got the time today to make a difference as opposed to what I normally end up doing is spending all my time on MSE :o I need a gadget which automatically shuts down the 'puter after a certain amount of time and locks it........clearly I can't be trusted :o

slept better last night although I kept poor H awake with my snoring :o:o Poor soul is suffering, even the Vicks I liberally put on didn't help. I fear I might have to sleep downstairs on the sofa cushions tonight to give the man a break. Am sure he won't like that but he needs a decent nights sleep.

Have wonderful, productive days :) Over the next few days I want to start tackling a fabric messanger bag eek! Out of my comfort zone big time!!

Everyday luxuries MG, well for me it's my weekly bath night (don't worry i do shower daily but this is special). I light candles (Xmas presents and from White Company), take a nice magazine in (also Xmas presents) and pour myself something alchoholic and just chill in there. It's so peaceful and relaxing and it's the only time in the way I put the hot water on! The rest of the time I just boil a kettle for the dishes to keep the electricity costs down. It works for me!

Have you seen this blog Bitsy - loads to choose from: http://www.diybaglover.blogspot.com/

The corners of a bag with sides are difficult, so make sure you bin them, and then sew very slowly :)

I looked out for an over locker for you, but I can't see anything for less than £179. Good luck with ebay. What do you want to use it for?

Wow MG your garden is really coming on well:T
Claire - hope today goes smoothly - did he say why he thought "just messing with you" was a good idea?

Oh well, back to frog chewing - I start off OK then the brain cell runs out of energy and ideas (yup, I'm writing an assignment again)

Mope and I told him I never found it funny either,I might have taken it the wrong way cause I was in a lot of pain (still am) so I was very sensitive.

Well done MG you're going great guns with the Freedom Fund.

I am slowly tackling my chores, the 15 minute timer is great for me, I can put BBB in his 'piano' and run round the room getting things done until the bell goes and I don't feel too guilty for neglecting him for too long! Luckily he's a very independent little boy and quite happy playing on his own, but we've just got back from over two weeks visiting friends and family where he's been held or entertained every waking minute, so we're now trying to adapt to life with just the 3 of us again.

If anyone is looking for a timer for their 15 minutes I got mine, a cute egg shaped one, from Poundland, for a £!:rotfl:

I was quite proud of myself this weekend as I had a big basket of Approved Foods stuff and before I hit the payment button decided that I really don't need any of the stuff just now as I already have cupboards full of stuff, so stopped just in time. I am now going to try and concentrate on just buying fresh goods and 'shopping' from my cupboards for a while. Wish me luck.

Clearing out DS2's Boudoir MG, so I'm working in sympathy with you.
But at least you know what you want to keep or throw, I have to pack up everything :p

Nearly one square foot cleared so far.......

    Very dull here today,

Going to have a shower in a minute as I'm meeting mum at 10.30.

Have polished furniture and washing living room and dining room floors this morning, Too sore to do any more so the rest will have to wait till later, although the dishwasher has been put on this morning, just need to empty it when I get home and reload it and brush and wash kitchen floor.

Not sure about doing washing looks like its going to rain here.

right best get my bottom in gear and get in shower.

So why didn't I remember I had music on the pc?
It's surprising what a quick bop does for one's energy levels:rotfl:
