that is a good and accurate summary
Now on to DS2's room, which is also full of DD's stuff.......
And yet she has the largest room in the house! (She likes the uncluttered look, but has a lot of stuff.......)0 -
me too !
I'm feeling a very shabby step-mum clearing DS1's roomEspecially as DD has her eye on the newly emptied wardrobes.
But I've found some interesting things including
1) a clown outfit
2) an oar (single)
3) Christmas pressies unused, but dating back to 2001......and their letters to Santa after I'd threatened that nothing was coming their way.....:rotfl:
Now the oar sounds interesting. Can be mounted on the wall just as decoration - used to hang a tab top curtain over a small window - have hooks screwed into it to hang things from.......
I wish I could find something like that!!!!!! Maybe I should look on ebay!
Just back from a morning babysitting no3 gs. He's so gorgeous I could sit and cuddle him all day but I hardened my heart, popped him in his chair and did a pile of ironing I found. Hope dd is pleased when she gets home.
Need to trim the edges of the front grass this pm and finish a 'new mum's' bag I'm making. It's got loads of pockets and I thought it would be difficult but it has turned out to be really straight forward!

Afternoon all!
Working all day today - but on my lunch at the moment. Been putting together a list of stuff I need to get done this week - it's getting longer, and longer, and LONGER! It started off as tomrow's To Do list, but I've decided to make it a weekly one instead as that might make everything feel more achievable.
Got a meal plan for this week and have done next weeks already as well - although that may change come the weekend when I work out what I have in that needs using before we go to Cornwall for our long weekend camping trip. Need to come up with what we plan to do and where we want to visit while we're there too - Eden Project is a definite (we've already got the tickets courtesy of ClubCard) as we loved that last year, and we also have a brewery to visit as one of the brewers we sold beer from at last year's Great British Beer Festival wants us to go and see them!
Chuffed with my shopping yesterday which included more fruit and veg than you can shake a large stick at! Determined now that I will eat more healthily than have been - it's been on my targets and aims list for a while now so it's something I need to - pardon the pun - get my teeth into!I even bought a bag of Sweet Potatoes as I seem to recall reading somewhere that they are better for you than normal spuds?!

The corners of a bag with sides are difficult, so make sure you bin them, and then sew very slowly
I looked out for an over locker for you, but I can't see anything for less than £179. Good luck with ebay. What do you want to use it for?
LOVE that website!!
I had a few sites bookmarked because I want to make a knitting bag that is big enough to hold a Rowan magazine without having to roll it and can also take more than a couple of spare balls of wool.

Borax substitute is all that's available in the shops now but you can still get proper borax on ebay. The substitute isn't as good.It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!0

Good afternoon,
Back home, dishwasher has been emptied, put on with a dishwasher cleaner, refilled with dishes and is on againall sparkly now
Been talking to mum about patchwork, and have decided as my throw on my settee (sits on the top to stop the wall and the settee rubbing together) is wearing thin, I'm going to have a go at making a patchwork one in teal and brown to match the wallpaper and if I'm really cleaver some cushion covers to match.
Then a patchwork Quilt in burgundy and cream ready for when my bedroom is re decoratedas I have burgundy and cream wallpaper
So if anyone comes accross any scrap material in those colours can you please let me know where?
