Ace news MG!
I have had a good but long day with a meeting after work. In later tomorrow though so planning to have an early night with my book. It's not all glamour you know!'The road to a friends house is never long'0 -
Fan - bloomin - tastic MG. Oooo I love planning trips and getting good deals so I am up for looking at things. I used to do that a lot for colleagues in my previous job and regularly act as travel agent for Mr C (saved him several hundred pounds over the last two years). And NO a martini is not out of the question (unless of course you dont have the ingredients in but then of course you will find a way of making something similar)
EH - looking forward to seeing your results
Souk, I am sure that you can even instil some glamour into the book reading department.
Well do we class today as the hump day in May??? Half way through and on the way to June? I am not wishing my life away at all but I just had that thought for some reason. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -

Well done MG that's great news. Are there any tentative plans for DS1 education funds? How exciting.
Can anyone tell me how I can join the other side and send me a link when they get a minute please, I am interested to see what you're all selling and what you're not allowed to say on here!
I did quite well with my few 15 minute bursts yesterday but I'm struggling with feelings of being a bit overwhelmed with the amount I have to do. I am a bit of a list addict and like to feel in control, so have list upon list of things I need to do, try or finish. Feeling a bit like I don't know where to start, and desperately want to get more of the house finished and make it feel like more of a home but don't know where I am going to find the time. Sorry for the whinge, if anyone has any suggestions as to how to organise myself so it doesn't feel so overwhelmed I would really appreciate it.
I hope you have good days everyone.0 -
Brilliant news on the book order MG, and your garden sounds very productive. It is such a lovely way of spending time with the boys, isn't it. Are you growing any fruit this year?Sealed pot Challenge 2011 member No 1241 - Final total £154.21

Thanks Ladies - the boxes are all sittting here and I will boogie them around to the Post Office as soon as I have dropped DS2 at playgroup. Are you growing any fruit this year?
Not a lot - got some raspberries, tayberries and black currants - Oh and a baby rhubarb.
Still in the process of making the permanent beds so light on fruit this year - looking god for veg though. Just been out to peek at the parsnips and they are loookig pretty perky after being transplanted.
Today some beans - interplanted with some leeks along the front of the raised beds - and may be some seeds straight in now its May. We are hoping to have this part of the garden planned and planted by the next time Dad visits .................... then lets see if he is inspired to give us a hand.
......................... maybe I should spend some of the World Education Fund and get it sorted for DS1???? That way I won't be waiting around for Dad??? Mind you Football Season is over so may see him a bit more.
And!!!!!!! Carpet, underlay and gripper all arrive today :j for the boudoir. Huge jump forward.
