Then depending on my back I am aiming to do some more writing - or some sewing - we will see how much life there is in the old brain by the time I am done.

    Have a productive Saturday ladies.

    First - coffee!!!!

    MG

Do the writing (but then I may be biased and self interested).

Freedom fund coming on really nicely, MG!

We are lonely but free! LB is away with his school and remember our intention to go to the theater again; well we are - tonight.

Before that we need to do shopping, cleaning and writing. And most importantly some planning.

Keep well people and speak later.

And her I am back atthe laptop instead of the Sewing Machine - LOL

Remembered that I had £160 in the Big Horse Bank savings account that is still frozen plus a £40 regular weekly payment to factor in - it looks so much happier celebrating the funds I DO have rather than how far I have to go. Bit like your procrastination idea.

I am setting up my ironing board in here - so that I can do a bit of writing/ planning then a spot of ironing - it will save me getting too stiff if I sit for too long.

MG - If you are planning to do a blog about your life in general then you might want to check out the Meanqueen blog here http://meanqueen-lifeaftermoney.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html. She is quite amazing and what she does on very little money is mind boggling. This is part of her opening blog in January 2009 and it spoke volumes to me. I think she would be a great addition to the Matrix too.

Now I am itching to get started - thanks Cheri

  • Mornin' Matrix - nope, not just up (shame), been up for ages - dd delivered to work and been to Mr T's.

(((Hugs))) to Sue and positive vibes that the surgery will vastly improve your back pain.

Today we are on the hunt for Zinsser Gardz - this magical pot (primer / sealer) according to the font of all knowledge (Google) is hopefully going to sort out our car-crash of a front-room ceiling. The previous owners must have put that much wall-paper paste onto the ceiling that it permeated the plaster. The paint has reacted with the paste and our ceiling now looks very shabby chic - crazed and peeling all over .

Thinking of MG's bahookie tattoo - this too shall pass :rotfl:.

Also thinking I need a shake-up in my thinking - it has served me well but time to move forward.

Thanks for this Cheri, just clicked onto the page, and one of the first things I noticed was the advice to keep small containers for propogating seeds. Not new advice I'm sure, but the timing is perfect - I have my raddish seeds and have been dithering about getting them planted as couldn't think of what to grow them in. Anyway, last night we had a takeaway, aha, I thought, the containers...although I've just had fish them out of the bin :o:eek:. They have now had a quick hand wash and are in the DW :).

I've had a busy morning so far, three loads washed, 1 dried, 1 drying and the other waiting. WM is on again! Have also taken DD1 to work this morning. As I came back to the house, I could see that my post had arrived (through the glass panel), hmm, I thought, must be cheques amongst that lot, since I'm a money magnet, and there was...a new cheque book from the bank :rotfl:. Made me smile :).

This is a really good blog on the same theme but a quite different style. You may need to subscribe as she had some really nasty comments a while back and took it down while she changed the settings so that comments are moderated - something you might want to think about MG?

I think she's on here somewhere?
But how can you know what you want till you get what you want and you see if you like it?

Well another productive day here at Cherisong Towers. I am quite pleased with myself so far. Yes Tricia I also subscribe to that blog. She is very good. I think that looking at other peoples ideas is a good way for me. Like Been said, not always new ideas but sometimes I have a lightbulb moment. I have also just found another forum via meanqueen this morning http://www.downthelane.net/index.php so I will be checking that one out later. Lots of chicken talk on there. Oh how I would love some chickens.

Right off to do my TADA list on my diary. Back later for a coffee break.

Big shop for the week done - at £11.38. Was sorely tempted at the passatta at 29p - think I might count up random change hanging around and stock up later in the week.

Off to update signature -then some more ironing - yuck!!!

Just had a call - the carpet for my "boudoir" is being delivered on Tuesday:T:T

I don't think I will have the room decorated by then - but its another thing saved up for and brought on-site.:)

Given me another spurt of energy - I wonder if I can get myself into the room in time for my birthday in a month???

    Off to water the seedlings
