Morning all,
wet and windy here today so my planned adventures up to the lakes nearby with Moo has been postponed. Not a big problem because it means that I can get stuck into sorting out boxes of paperwork and lots of shredding. I have a filing cabinet, files and folders ready to go. Just checked out my TADA list from yesterday over on my diary and I am soooooo pleased with myself but I also realise why I am aching all over. Not an easy thing carrying beds and boxes up and down stairs.
Hope you all have a good day. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -
I agree with you all about Eurovision. I hadn't watched it in years because I got so angry at the voting and the farce it made of the whole thing. I watched yesterday because the voting system had changed and I wanted to see if it made any difference - it absolutley didn't :rotfl:
It is such a shame because the standard of songs (IMO) had got better and were perhaps more of the popular type song than the downright weird and wacky.
We did get 100 points though which was better than the 10 we got last year :rotfl:but if a group such as Blue, who are popular in Europe can't do well for us then I think for me it has well and truly had its day!OD [STRIKE] £2600 [/STRIKE] £0 :j Loan [STRIKE]£9500.00[/STRIKE] £0 :j Car [STRIKE]£3150[/STRIKE] £0 :j Moving Costs [STRIKE]£1300[/STRIKE] £0 :j Savings £1150 :j

Good Afternoon
I must have slept awkward last night, U'm in absolutly agony today. So not much has been done compared to what I manage to get done. I have cleaned kitchen, put 2 loads of washing on the line another in th WM, Cooked the boys and myself bacon and egg, (need to eat to take pain killers) thats it.
Need to loads more though, my stuff from the farmers market is still in the middle of the living room, still needing unpacking, so will get the boys to help with that, no way I can lugg boxes around today
Clootie yes I did get a boost from selling the apron, plus the other stall holders loved them. Although I had another pm from Mse Andrea warning me about advertising stuff for sale, although I never did it intentally. I have to be carefull what I say, I can put photo's here but not mention I'm going to sell them.
I now have a few bits of scrap material left, so I'm going to have a go at patchworkBoiler pot £30.92/£10000 -
Tired bunnies here today especially dd who sat up through whole of eurovision and then announced that it was a bit unfair that we haven't got any neighbours and could we move the UK?!
Long, long list of house and school stuff to trog my way through today and going to get started after a few posts on here - Ipod will be on loud and timer set for 15 mins to keep me focused. If I get a load of stuff done have promised myself a big bubbly bath and manicure later or a bit of Judge John Deed (guilty secret) and vino.Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly

DS1 has found this and thinks it's hysterical - so he would like to share.

He has been moving buckets of soil for the last hour - so over half of raised beds are topped up, had 3" of compost and a handfull of Growmore forked in. Planting out weekend next weekend I should think. Looks very neat and tidy at the moment - just wait until the courgettes and squashes (thugs of the veggie patch) get a grip.
About to feed the boys and then finish the ironing before attempting to tidy out my new bedroom - big pile for car boot next weekend is growing and withthe carpet coming on Tuesday I need to get a wiggle on.
Beep!!!! Lunchtime loaf is ready for sarnies.

Not bad another load of washing on the line last load in. (apart from DH work clothes.) and the boys beddng. Looks lke its going to rain though so fingers crossed the washing will dry before it rains.
Got a huge joint of pork defrosting for dinner, will be enough left over for sandwichews and maybe a curry, food is looking very low in the freezernow, but we are still eating from last months shop, apart from the odd meat that has been bought reduced and in the freezer, I'm hoping it will last till the end of the month, when DH gets paid on the 28th.
