I once worked with a lady who had a Johnny Depp shrine in her stock cupboard :rotfl:. Totally hear you re: Johnny - why is all the rum gone :rotfl:- only problem for me is his height, I like my men tall.
Now I am not overly put off by height with the exception of Richard "The Hamster" Hammond who I was extremely surprised at just how short he was when he walked past me at a Land Rover show
Anything above his height is fair game
So here's so more fave eye candy
and lets not forget some eye candy of the pastOK OK I know he was gay and sadly now dead but hey he sure was easy on the eye
and I really LOVE a man who can move
See I warned you once I start I can't stop
All this reminds me of when I worked in my 20's, Friday afternoons in the office were always a little kick back and conversation invariably turned to men and sex........this was our Friday afternoon anthem :rotfl:I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

IT'S THE WEEKEND. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
No need to blush a fair portion of the female population swoon at Brad Pitt and David Beckham and both of them leave me in the cold <shudder> I like the fact that we don't all fancy the same......leaves the best ones for me
for info though they are: Bradley Cooper, John Cusack, Denzel Washington, Gerard Butler, Hugh Jackman, Rock Hudson and then the fabulous Gene Kelly
Right off to my mums for tea tonight so need to wash up kids dinner plates, pack 'em in the car and head round for a good catchup with my mum and dad. Best of all I don't have to cook :TI have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

Haven't even started my 'to do list'
, fell asleep after lunch and then again during some antique show. Plants are outside getting a drink and watering can is being filled as the downpipe needs repairing ... never mind, there will be some time before Monty Don fest this evening ...

Cheery : I worked at home for a year after I started freelancing and 'had to' wear shoes or I was very unproductive. I could work in my dressing gown so long as I wore shoes.:D
I never said I was normal. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:But how can you know what you want till you get what you want and you see if you like it?0 -
Sounds like you're tired NL.... ((((()))))))
Have to confess I didn't recognise most of that lot either - or find them particularly attractive! :rotfl: :rotfl: Good job we all like different things about people hey, else there'd be lots of elbowing-out-of-the-way injuries :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
Not fair - it won't let me post even one photo:mad:0

I like Gerard Butler and Hugh Jackman in a very abstract kind of way. But this may be saying more about me than these men.
Cheery, I started working from home a lot - go in only when I teach and I don't teach a lot. But have found that I need to:
1) Have regularity. So if I know that I am working at home on particular days it is fine; if it is decided ad hoc it is not.
2) Be very strict with making a short but effcetive to do list (and not to do list) the evening before. Otherwise by the time I have decided what to do I am looking at websites, reading blogs, writing blogs and the whole day has been great but no work work has been done.
3) Start immediately after I get out of bed and just go on. Dressing gown, slippers and mad hair...
This has different kinds of problems - I tend to get pains because I do not move; behave as if anyone interrupting me is treatening my personal happiness and the hapiness of my children (for generations); and get totally obsessed so that I forget to go to the bathrrom. This may be only me - we high scorers and OCDs are great in some things and total nightmare in others.
Also, I found yesterday the blog of a very young Americal guy who claims to have solved the matter of procrastination. Probably not entirely but what he says makes sense. This is that we procrastinate because we:
1) don't know where to stop (long lists that never get finished)
2) Measure work in hours not tasks
3) Do time management instead of energy management
Consequently he recommends three rules:
1) At the end of each week to do a new to do list called 'weekly goals'.
2) Every nigh to do a new to do list called 'daily goals'.
3) Focus only on the daily list and forget about the rest.
My guess is that if one follows these rules it doesn't matter where one works - but have not tried it yet. Care to join me in the test anyone?
