Yes, the case study was utterly horrible... but I passed that sucker the first time around. I had a half module about public finance which I took three attempts to pass!! Still, I passed it. They can't take that away from me.
Still plugging away... but I wanna go home!!!I need a  Or several!!

Well done Crickett!! :T You're rolling through all that stuff, and hooray at not having to send out letters to employers! :j :j Keep going, not long now...
MG, you aren't mad at all, I think that sounds thoroughly sensible! I really do work better when I've got shoes on at least:rotfl: Haven't yet started going out of the house and back in again - but maybe I should! :rotfl: Having to walk up 2 flights of stairs is usually quite enough to contemplate.
Perhaps part of my trouble is having my desk in the room all my sewing stuff is in....
Anyway, popped in with a mini bit of a 'hooray' for myselfJust had an email to say the book chapter I contributed to is all ready (although won't actually be published for several months). Might only be 500 words in one chapter of an entire book, but this is the first time my name's been in print (other than the front of the PhD locked in the cellar of the library, that is, but that doesn't count :rotfl:) - I'm very excited! :j :j

Go at 4 Cheri - tell them I said so.

Cheery - I know this is going to sound mental (so what's new) - but when I have a "work form home spurt" I get myself up and organised as if I was going to the office, leave the house, walk/drive around the block and then come back into my office with my "work head" on. If I am in my work clothes / heels/ makeup I never feel quite to tempted to turn on the telly and the kettle.
Worth a try (if only to save all that travelling time)
Does anyone think I need to see a "special" Doctor???

Well, there is only me to tell as I am working from home today. Given that I have had so many days out of the office and I have so many papers to write I would prefer to stay at my desk now rather than ending up doing some over the weekend. Another downside of working from home is that I do have a tendency to let it tip over into my social life sometimes. Need to be disciplined and stick to the 9-5 when at home. I have just snorted tea and had a major coughing fit at that description! :rotfl::D:rotfl: And it really describes what I was like on Tuesday!
Right, just got to write my to do list for Monday, and the list of jobs left to do on my portfolio (drastically reduced!) and then I can go home. YAY!!!
Weekend .... and vino.... here we come!!:beer::D"A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort"Herm Albright 1876-19440
