It really depends how many bottles you want or how much you have to spend, cause if only want a bottle or two it is cheaper to just use the voucher than get the 3 for 2 offer!!0

I live in yorkshire and our local co-op has 4 crossings shiraz or chardonnay at £2-99 a bottle. The shiraz is 14%. If you buy 6 in a cardboard carrying case you get a further £1 off so it brings it down to £2-82 for an excellent glugger.Beep Beep0

I travelled a fair way to my nearest Wine Rack tonight: what a load! Taking 40% off their prices takes you to about the normal supermarket price. When you buy on the 3 for 2 offer you end up with an OK but not spectacular price. For example, their wine of the month is a Lindemans Chardonnay blend at £3.99 when you buy 3. BUT, single bottle price is £5.99 so the 40% discount takes you to £3.60. The true discount is 10%.
Particularly disappointing was the price on Champagne: absolutely sky high.
Get yourself a motorist mini cruise from Hull to Zeebrugge, £72 for 2 with ensuite cabins both way. Drive 80 miles to Calais and hit Majestic Oddbins Tesco and Sainsbury. Pay 2 to 2.50 for good quality Aussie and get well stocked up. Now that's what I call a 40% discount.0 -

legsXI wrote:Yep, my local Thresher is also imposing a minimum of 6 bottles to be purhased for this offer! The shopkeeper held up a piece of paper - an email from head office.
Can they do this given that they told Martin they would honour the offer. The voucher mentions nothing of a minimum purchase so can they change the rules afterwards?!  :dance:0 -
