It is you who are personalising things. Your tone is clear. You are the one using offensive language for example and feeling it necessary to call people names just beause they don't happen to agree with your POV - is that how you manage disagreements when you don't have the protection of a faceless computer screen?.

I have not resorted to a "tone" because you dissagree with a point. I have no issues with people having an alternate opinion.

What I do have a problem with, and what has caused my tone is you continued fabrication of opinions for me. Taking my words and then telling me what I mean by them even though it is patently obvious that the text quoted does not mean that. You have insisted now 3 or 4 times that because I used the term free money that this equates to dissagreeing with the concept of tax credits. This makes you either a moron or ignorant (or a bit of both) hence my tone to you. No doubt now you will still consider that my tone is due to what you believe it is, because thats the kind or moronic thing you appear to do.
I notice you didn't bother to comment on the fact that nobody 'in charge' has yet managed to give me an accurate explanation for my changes of TC and so I will assume you now, finally, after much explaining, get the point that I am several others are trying to make. ?.

Im fully aware of the point. It doesnt change or negate my point that when you get money for nothing you get money for nothing. Not being organised and knowing how much money this is, is still a site better than getting none at all. (as explained earlier)
Just because you don't care about the extremely poor level of service displayed, does not mean others don't. We are absolutely entitled to be annoyed - just as we would be if British Gas got our bill wrong, or a shop debited us for more money than we'd agreed. Just because it concerns something that benefits us, does not mean the administrators of the scheme have the right to give us poor service or that we should just sit quietly by and accept that as justified.

A poor analogy. You are paying british Gas which is why you expect a level of service and if you dont get it you can go elsewhere. The tax credits system is paying YOU. Whatever imperfections there are with the system you have to roll with. There is no obligation for the government to pay you anything at all, they could quite literally scrap the system over time then the moaning on here regarding the speed of information coming through will look right silly in comparison.

LOL! The Civil Service is providing the people of this country with a service - same as BG. Their wages are paid by me and countless other taxpayers. I expect good service because that is what is right. You go on accepting poor service my love - if that's what you think you deserve. I'm inclined to agree with you.
