I was bad and ignored MFP for the weekend! It was not a good weekend food wise, 3 packs crisps, 3/4 bottle red wine & chowder and crab cakes. My scales was scary this morning!
I've booked a universal contour wrap (well a course of 3) so having the first one next Saturday! Figured I need some help at this stage.
Had a very productive weekend in relation to the house. Got all our kitchen appliances (well have a deposit put on them), have ordered and put a deposit on our stove and have almost agreed on bathroom and floor tiles!
Have jury duty tomorrow, not looking forward to it. Really scared of ending up on a horrible trial like a rape or something. But on the bright side I do get a sleep in!
I actually managed to do 30 mins exercise for once.0 -
Well day 1 of jury duty down. Didn't get picked for the jury, thankfully. I quite liked the idea of seeing the trial but not having to make the decision. I'd find it quite hard being objective, it was a man on trial and before I'd even heard the charge I thought he was guilty!
Have to go back again tomorrow. Here's hoping my luck holds.
Was finished at 11.30 and got DRENCHED after coming out of the courthouse. It had been bright and sunny in the morning so was wearing ballet flats with no socks and my feet were cold and slippery and wet and it was miserable. Had been planning on doing a few things if I'd finished early but just went home!
I was bad this morning. I usually weight myself twice a week. Monday morning and Friday morning. Well I was up 2 pounds Monday morning after the weekend. I knew I'd been bad but not THAT bad so after drinking loads of water and sticking to my calories and exercising yesterday I weighed myself again this morning and i was down almost 2.5 pounds! Happy days!
Didn't do too well on the spending. As I was feeling miserable I spent another €25 in boots (that's on top of the €45 I spent in there on Saturday!) and I bought Anna Richardsons diet book. Some of the recipies look really nice.0 -
hey kerry have just read your diary from start to finish, you are doing so well! I can completely sympathise with the toiletry and stationery addiction, i too am hooked! Me and OH did the whole wedding on our own abroad thing, we went to the maldives, best thing we ever did, was amazing and Im sure yours will be. congrats on the weight loss you're doing great.0

:rotfl: What have you been buying in Boots? Time to join the no toiletries challenge!
Lucky you didn't get caught in the rain on the way in to the courthouse, not really the sort of place you'd want to look a mess.
No rain in Cork today but wondering why we aren't getting any of the heat they have in the UK? Or the extreme bad weather, but I don't want that obviously.
Don't be weighing yourself every day, you'll drive yourself crazy.Total debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€5000 -

I haven't been into Boots in ages so I think it just caught up with me! On Saturday I got deoderant, a foot file (brilliant) foot cream, nail varnish remover, cotton wool pads, wipe off cleanser, panadol, hair sectioners and volumnising mousse. Yesterday I got a toenail sissors (how glamorous!) had a €3 off Lee Staffordshire hair products vouchers so got dry shampoo (used to love his normal one and he's released a colour version but it's €8 a can!!!! Way too expensive) and bath oil (at my parents house have a jacuzzi bath so can't use bubble bath unless I want to look like I'm in a flake add!)
Some people called for Jury Duty definately ignored the business bit of the business casual look. It was a bit bonkers, there were a few guys wearing the big baggy jeans, one looking completly grungy, one wearing hippy pants (multicoloured baggy pants) and one wearing a red and black baseball cap backwards, could see the judge watching him when he walked into the room! And a few girlies who looked more like they were on the way to a party than a Jury!
It's true, we never seem to get the real good weater but last winter looked like it was way worse in the UK and Scotland. I know it was really bad here but it looked way worse over there.
I don't usually weight myself every day, it was just I KNEW I was down on Tuesday so it was a bit of motivation!0 -
:rotfl: at the clothes for jury duty.
I want the Lee Stafford argan oil heat protect spray but it's €18 or something. That's so expensive for a boots hair product but I expect it'll be on offer at some point.Total debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€5000 -
