Sounds like an irritating day :( Unfortunate about the Warehouse dress, they are a reputable company, chances are it'll turn up in the system somewhere.

It's not even the fact the dress is lost somewhere - it's the fact 3 emails have just been ignored that's REALLY annoying me!

I'm getting my money back from Warehouse!!! Happy happy days! It was about €72 so too much to just let go! They replied to my facebook post asking for my phone number and they would call me. So I replied with my number saying it was an Irish mobile number and about 30 mins later got another message saying I had an e-mail and to read it and let them know if I still wanted a phone call. Anyway the message said they were processing my return and I would have the money in 3-5 days! They didn't even mention the dress so I don't know if they found it somewhere or if they're just returning my money cause they messed up by ignoring my e-mails. I replied saying they didn't need to call me!

Just finished the most amazing book. It's called Game of Thrones, there's a tv show based on the book on Sky Atlantic. OH loved the programme and bough the book and I started reading it last Saturday cause I was bored. It's not like anything I've read before (well maybe a tiny bit like Tolkien in scope). I really can't describe it very well but it's BRILLIANT! And the best bit is there are 6 more books to go.

I love reading the first book by an author, loving it and then discovering they've written loads more!

I got my money back from Warehouse! And I got the TOTAL amount back (including post & packaging!) Happy Days.

My car has a new dent after the weekend. OH was driving and we were on a narrow back country road (it is paved but it has grass growing down the middle!) and a stupid woman came around a blind corner going way too fast. OH ended up in steering into the ditch to avoid a head on collision. She couldn't stop in time so a small dent over the drivers side wheel arch. Didn't bother getting insurance details as it is only a small dent. She annoyed me though. She first asked were we from the area (yes), then she asked did we live on the road (yes, more or less!). Think she was trying to make it sound like we didn't know the area so shouldn't have been on the road at all!!

Got the second book in the "A song of fire and ice" saga, so really looking forward to starting that at the weekend.

I got a 5 year diary too, going to wait till Jan to start it though!

Today is the longest day of the year and for some reason it's made me think about how much is going to be different for me on the shortest day of the year in 6 months. Usually my life just kinda trundles along but in 6 months I'll be married, have moved into our house and will be 10 days away from redundancy!

This update has been way longer than I expected and I haven't even complained bout the weather!

I have a minor stationary addiction! Buy lots of notebooks and stuff but usually don't write in them cause they look so pretty and "clean" before you write in them! This is the diary. It's a question a day, love the idea!

Aaaargh wish I hadnt clicked that link, youve got me looking now!
I love diaries but also guilty to not wanting to 'ruin' the pretty books with my writing, or a do write but then decide to destroy it...

Right can I have a little bit of a "annoyed with myself" rant??

Ever since I got my weight loss head on I've been losing about a pound a week. Last weekend I even managed to NOT gain weight over the weekend.(which is a miracle!) So the "annoyed with myself" bit? - why the hell couldn't I have done this earlier?? It's not like I didn't have the motivation! If I'd started back in January I could have been 2 stone down by now! I'm a muppet!

    Everything else is going well!

We have all been there I bet, I know I have! for instance, you get invited to an event which is, say, 6 months away...Think to yourself oh I can lose x amount of weight by then...Next thing you know the event is tomorrow, no weight has been lost, feel fat in outfit etc etc. By you, I dont mean YOU :o ( I mean me). So you have started now and sounds like you are doing well, with these things you have to be in the right frame of mind and it sounds like you are :). Good luck, we are doing it together :)

And ace news on the roof

That's it EXACTLY. I suppose i should focus on the fact that I HAVE got my weight loss head on now. Better late than never!
