I knew Barack Obama was an great speaker but seeing his speech in Dublin (just on telly unfortunately) was amazing! It's one thing seeing him speak in America about American issues but to see him speak in your own country he's something else. He had a pint too, which is more than the Queen did!!

In other news the dress from Warehouse is going back. It's a completly different colour in real life, it's an off white, almost buttermilk colour. It fits fine, I just don't really like it.

Got our weddings rings at the weekend!! And even better was lots under budged on them! His is matt white gold with 2 thin bands of polished white gold around the sides, mine is gold with channel set diamonds

Budget is going well. From €100 I still have just over €50 left. Need to get contacts soon so that will be €70 in the next week or two

In house news we have the roof 1/4 slated! Started on Friday but the weather has been too bad to work on it since. It now has no windows! I'm not entirly sure why they had to come out but OH says they did and he tends to know what he's doing!! (I hope!)

I just have no interest in a typical wedding dress. Especially considering it's just going to be me & oh and the PRICE for something I'd wear once! I'm missing the "wedding gene"!! I can't wait to be married but not bothered bout the wedding!

Damn it! Stupid computer ate my post! Try again!

Was talking to OH earlier and he said his mom had called into a few bridal boutiques to see what kind of non-wedding dresses they have! We're going shopping at the weekend (me and his mom, not me and OH!) OH has 2 brothers, the older one has a girlfriend but is a complete commitment phobe and the younger one has no interest in having a girlfriend so at the moment OH is her best chance of marrying any of them off!

Went on a magazine spending binge! 4 magazines in total! 2 Irish monthlies (Stellar & Prudence) and Ideal Home and House Beautiful for decorating inspiration!

Having a bit of a "blue" evening. Was manic busy at work with a load of rubbish and when I got home, just hit a slump. Have now showered, put on Pjs, cooked and eaten dinner and am camped out on the couch. 2 episodes of Murder she wrote and Midsomner Murders to look forward to!

If ever I am lucky enough to find someone who will marry me I think I'd go for that style

Well I don't have a wedding dress.There was one nice dress but I wasn't certain bout it and I just didn't love it so didn't get it.

Will head to Cork to Coast and Monsoon in the next week or two to see what they have.
