Well it's a new week and I'm feeling inspired by Shoe Gals Glamourthon.
Not inspired enough to go on the cross trainer though! Will definately get on it tomorrow though. I also forgot to body brush (a new habit I'm trying to get into)
Food going well though, have the day logged on myfitnesspal (my favourite app ever!)
Talking of apps - I have a good money tracking one but I had the realisation that the best thing really is a notebook and pen. The app is just soo overcomplicated. Now granted it's great if I want to know how much I spent on flowers for example in a month but not great if I just want to know how much money I have to spend this week.
Need to start concentrating on my nails again. They're very weak.0 -
Ive just discovered myfitnesspal, its ace!0

Been MIA for a few days but I'm back. I have been productive during my absence though. I've now completly cleared out my wardrobe and 3 bin bags of clothes have gone to charity. I've also cleared out under my bed (I'm like a teenager!) I've STARTED sorting my books but that one is going to take a while. I have 2 stuffed bookcases and I'd like to get it down to one ideally.
I still have to do my bedside lockers and the shelves in my room (which are seperate from the bookcase!)
Budget wise I've finished the week up with €23.70! Which is the best I've done so far. I usually save all of it but this week I'm going to carry the €20 forward as I have a good few bits this week that I need to get. I have to get vitamins (about €20) diesel (€50), contacts (€80) and coffee (€10) with a friend on Saturday. Not a good week.:eek::eek:
In other news booked Tommy Tiernan tickets for me, OH and OHs bro for 8th July. Absolutly LOVE Tommy Tiernan. I think I've seen every show he's done at this stage. I love seeing comedians. Luckily I live not too far from a biggish event centre (the INEC) which gets decent comedians. Saw Dara O' Brien there not too long ago. Seriously excited about going to see Michael McIntyre in November 2012!!!!! That's on in Dublin.
Are we watching Britains Got Talent? I have to say there's no one this year that's blowing me away. Last year I knew I waned Spellbound to win, the year before Diversity, this year I'm just not that bothered.0 -
Well done on the decluttering, you really need to be in the right sort of mood to tackle jobs like that.
Does your diesel come from the weekly €100 budget? I've been spending €20-30 a week on petrol and I'm thinking I should budget for it separately as a set weekly expense. Any idea how much you spend on food? I was thinking €30-40 should be reasonable but I'm not sure. That would leave €30 to €50 for extras like clothes, socialising, random cosmetics purchases, wine, magazines.......In theory that would work but things are so expensive €30 goes nowhere.Total debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€5000 -

The disel is seperate. I thought it would only take €50 to top up this evening but it took €60. I don't drive THAT much during the week but the weekend kills me.
I spend roughly €30 a week on food. And some weeks even less. Caues I'm only cooking for myself if I buy a bag of rice or pasta it lasts for ages. I shop only at Tesco. I'm sure if I went to Aldi or Lidl I could bring it down even more but I hate going to Aldi or Lidl and getting a huge big trolly and then only putting maybe 5 items in it!!! I really wish they did baskets, or even just small trollys!
I really do just seem to fritter money away! Technically I have €100 minus €30 for food so €70, and last week was my best week yet, I had €20 left over. SURELY I should be able to manage better than that!0 -
