Hadn't realised it's been a week since I posted! Have been very lax bout keeping up with peoples diaries as well! Oops.

We got our kitchen last weekend. Well we ordered it anyway. From B&Q. Lovely walnut shaker kitchen. Got the worktop and sink and tap as well. Treated ourselves to a big burger and garlic fries in Eddie Rockets (@Mags, in Mahon!)

Got most of the paint for the house sorted. Have gone through about 10 tester pots!! Still dithering bout the bedroom. Have kinda decided on one but I'm worried it's a bit dark. But at the end of the day it's only paint and can be changed it we change our mind.

I thought it was going to be a really bad weigh in this morning. I'd looked at the calories of the buger and chips and the burger was 900 alone!!! After I saw that I kinda gave up for the weekend. There was wine and crisps and roasted potatoes and gravy. But after all that I was only 1 pound up!!! Was delighted with that!

I don't like Eddie Rockets much, coffee for me everytime or maybe Nandos. I do like Mahon Point though :)

I really like Mahon, the River Island and La Senza especially are great. I actually didn't feel great after Eddie Rockets, was just way too much food.

Where is Nandos? I'd heard there was one then after we left I realised I don't remember seeing it anywhere?

Nandos is downstairs just at the bottom of the escalators, near Debenhams and O'Briens sandwich bar.

Finally found innocent veg pots in my Tesco. They were on half price so I got mexican, peri peri and marsala. Just had the mexican and it's YUM!

Been quite enough. Have FINALLY decided on a colour for our bedroom (13 tester pots later!)

Had the nicest brownie today! My friend made them for the office. They had raspberries baked in them. Serious sugar rush at 9am!

Quite enough weekend planned. Having my second contour wrap on Saturday and can't drink after that for a few days!

    Think that's all for now!

At €1.99 I'll be having one a day for the next week :) €3.99 is expensive though, people on the old-style board can feed whole families for that :o

I have so much going on in real life that I've gotten very lazy bout updating here. Well, I say I've lots going on but it's all house related.

Just general stuff that OH needs me to hold stuff together and stuff.

Got all the bathroom delivered. Was great to see the basin and taps cause I'd forgotten what we picked.

OH picked up the tiles as well today. (him and his dad, it took a few trips) Had kinda forgotten what they looked like too.

Had to do a last minute dash to get paint this evening. We'd gotten what we THOUGHT was off white bathroom paint except it turned out yellow! The rest of the bathroom is going to be cream & brown so a yellow ceiling was not an option. I had OH repaint it! Took about 1.5 hours! Oops!

Not getting much of a chance to exercise, it's been late when I've gotten home the last few nights and I'm just tired. It'll all be worth it in the end.

Wish I could send you the Polish painter/decorator (see my diary). He could do all of those jobs absolutely perfectly. Actually he'd love working on a brand new house like yours.

Seen your diary, don't think he'd like our house, it's completely rural!
