Well I'm still around.
The countdown is at less than a week now - sooo excited.
Been really busy with the house, it's looking like it's not going to be ready when we get home from honeymoon - and the bed isn't being delivered till 5th September! So it's either move in with my parents for a week (well just don't move out) or a sleeping bag on the floor and I'm leaning in favour of the sleeping bag!
Tomorrow is going to be a bit sad cause it's going to be my last day having lunch with all the girls (and one boy) I went through training with. I ended up in a different department but have been having lunch with them for the last 3 years! My department is taking me out for lunch on Friday and by the time I come back the other girls will all have been made redundent.0 -

I'm really worried about @Kerry with the hurricane in New York, I only know her from chatting here but every time I see the hurricane reports on the news I think of Kerry.
I expect she's safe but this must be ruining her holiday/honeymoon, a hurricane shelter definitely wasn't part of the plan

Aww, thank you ladies!
So far so good. We're in the Times Square area and there's no threat of evacuation (so far anyway). The hurricane is due tomorrow morning. It's fine so far although today has been tough, broadway has shut down, all transport has shut down and a LOT of restaurants have shut!
Got married on Wednesday and it was amazing (apart from a close hair disaster - I'll update better when I'm back at home)
