Hi Lemmings - I thought I was the only one who does things like that. Have you got any more mushrooms onions and tomatoes, etc, so you can end up with a large less sweet batch and freeze some or freeze what you've got and get some more ingredients to add to it at a later date? Course you'd have to find something else to eat today if you did that but better than binning it.
Thinking really out of the box, maybe youv'e just invented a wonderful new pudding!'Yaze whit yeh hive an ye'll niver wahnt'

I have one of those plates too!! They are fab and I have no idea how they defrost things quickly but they do!
That will be good to spend some time with your mum. If the weather is nice then you can go and sit on the beach? I love chip butties! I use oven chips and only put enough on for a chip butty so they only take about 15 mins to cook.
You are really doing very well. Just try to keep it going and focus on the end goal. Way to go Lemmings x0 -
You know i could of very easily of wrote your first post myself!! Im a nightmare, it burns holes in my pokets and i just have to go spend it. My biggest problem tho is my self dicipline...i just dont have any! Ive started meals plans...then failed, ive joined flylady...then failed. To be fair i do with most things, i get bored of them, even tho i know i really need to be doing them. Like this week i had an extra payment of £150 from CSA that i wasnt expecting, i started off well and transfered it into my savings account, but now i know its there i feel like i have to spend it! Im even looking at garden sheds....i dont need one, well i do but its not a neccessity....and puppies! Then today i transfered £50 of it back into my normal account and bought my son new trainers, even tho he only had some 3 weeks ago! I just need shooting i think lol.
You seam so determined, im so jealous lol....best of luck with it tho, i really hope you succeed.....ive subscribed to this thread so i can follow your prgress and hopefully it will give me the kick up the backside that i need0 -

oh my God, I can SO identify with this!! I had banned myself from going into Boots after coming out over £100 down EVERY TIME! But I went in yesterday. walked around, tried on expensive makeup (as always!) and bought nothing. yay me!! It's the process of shopping and buying that I love - when depressed I do a massive 'shop' online, add everything I want to my basket, then just don't buy it! very theraputic. I would love to do online shopping for elderly people - the act of shopping is what i find fun, not having the stuff itself.0

Hi lemmings1986, I finally got to the end of your diary and have enjoyed reading it. You have come a long way and I love the way you are making an inventory of your cupboards and working your meals around what you have. And well done on cutting up your credit cards. I am going to try to keep to a monthly budget for my groceries in May, I usually budget week by week, so we will see how it goesMay Grocery Challenge - £280.26/£250 (includes all food, toiletries and takeaway's for a family of four)0
