You can use eating apples to make the crumble. They'll hold their shape (not turn to mush like cooking apples do) and won't need much sugar added, if any.0

right need to get bum in gear still on here .ive got 5 and a hlf hours to do inventry of cupboards get ready hang washing out make a crumble get oh out of his pitt not looking hopeful lol do some tidying etc i'll be back later with inventry hopefully will get some ideas for recipes etc

i was gonna add some strawberrys to it not sure if it will work tho but i won a hamper the other day and i have got so much fruit and veg in fridge i dont want to waste any of it
ive got blueberrys,raspberrys,strawberys,melon,three different kind of apples,pears,bananas grapes lemmons,oranges pataotos,peppers,casserole veg carrots stirfry,onions,mushrooms
i was thinking of a soup or a stew and a apple crumble and a lemon madeira cake some of the veg i am using for a pork dinner i am cooking tommorow as mother in law is comin here but not sure what else i could makeVSP#17 £2.34

how about some vegetable soups and freeze them for lunches. or vegetable pies with like a cheese sauce instead of gravy.0

well i have finally done a inventry of everything in my cupboards and freezer, if i sat and listed everything i would be here about two weeks i didnt realise i had this much stuff good its bad,the only good thing is we wont starve and will proberbly last us about two months.
right so meal plan for this week is as follows
monday-pork dinner with stuffing balls,patatoes veg and pudding curticy of free hamper left over pork to be froze for stirfry
tuesday-meat pie and new patatos
wednesday-me bolongnese pasta bake ready meal,oh left over corned beef hash as he at work
thursday-chinese pork stir fry
friday- pork chops,chips and curry sauce
saturday steak and chips
sun-spaghetti bolognese any leftovers will be frozen for dinners in week
i am going to do some batch cooking tommorow-spaghetti bolognese,a chicken curry so dont av to cook when i come in from work
cheese and onion pastys and veg soup-packup for work
also might do some fairy buns and muffins also take to work for packup in weekVSP#17 £2.34

That's brilliant. You can use bolognase mix in loads of ways once you've batch cooked it - in a pasta bake; add a bit of chilli powder and stuff some tortillas; lansagna etc0

Well done for taking charge of your problem, and there are a lot of good ideas here and lots of support.
Forgive me if it's already been said (I only read 2 pages!), but one thing to remember is that if you do now spend something that you shouldn't, DON'T beat yourself up about it. Everyone trips at some point - just forgive yourself and carry on, realising that to carry on after tripping shows that you are strong.
