I have signed up to this using two existing current accounts I have with loyds, currently all appears well, my rounded up 'savings' are being moved to my nominated account, which I've mentioned is also a current account. Does this mean everything is working OK or will I not get my savings matched at the end of March ?
Also, I have another two current accounts with LLoyds. Could I do the same with these two, effectively doubling my 'saving of the change' ?
Thanks in advance.
Your savings have to be transferred into a Savings Account with Lloyds. If you haven't got one, open up the Online Saver.
I currently have 2 current accounts on the go, have filled the first one and have virtually finished the second one.0 -
LittleVoice wrote:I thought the STC payments had to go to an "eligible savings account". Is your nominated account a savings account in the eyes of LTSB or is it just a current account which you yourself regard as holding savings? Or perhaps it is a savings account from which you make BACS withdrawals?
It is definitely a current account, I do use it for saving however & deposit money on a regular basis. As I say it appears to be working as STC payments are showing up in the account.0 -
have i missed the boat for february?? i only managed one debit before tonight and that seemed to take an age to show up.
setting up an egg account turned out to be a pain and i need to send proof of address so im gunning for paypal!
the one transaction thats defo gone through was a 1p purchase of ebay, my paypal is on zero so it charged my card. so i thought i'd buy a few more things of ebay but dont want my ebay suspended.
then i started sending 1p's to previous paypal payees. does anyone know if they need to accept the payment for my card to be charged? my paypal account seems to be transferring money from it
can anyone here pm their paypal addy so i can send u a penny or two?? i guess it will work. What's it going to be, eh?0 -
Hi All,
I've just checked my Online Saver at LTSB, they've already credited the 'matched STC' for February! Credit of £40 is added (as thats £50 with the 20% tax), almost all of which was done with Egg transfers!
Really pleased with that, already up to £19.80 on this months transfers, so it really is worth it!
Cheers

No searching supermarket shelves for £1.02 items. No driving in and out of petrol station forecourts for £5.01 at a time. Just sit at your PC and get paid the equivalent of £60/hour!!
* I had my March STC payments made by day 6 this month - some have done it even quicker.0 -
Oh I don't know YB - paying off my credit card bill in dribs and drabs was quite fun.0

I rarely go shopping or use my debit card so trying to get the full £50 is proving difficult! Didn't manage to ramp up much this month... got about £8 by paying £1.01 off credit card a few times - couldn't stand paying small sums onto my credit card over and over again! LOL! Although the point about earning the equivalent of £60 an hour is a very good one! Better nimble up my fingers for a bit of work tonight!****************************************Money saving is addictive... get help and join MSE!0
