I did a couple of £x.01 transactions today (egg money and savings).
They show as £x.01 & £x.01; but they have not been rounded up and I thought the working day has ended

They won't round up - the transactions will show as normal, then at the very end of the statement (may not show until the morning) there will be a separate Save The Change transaction - at least that's what showed on my statement this morning for Feb 1st transactions.

Don't panic. If you're talking about today, Friday, then wait until at least the FOLLOWING day. Why? Because the terms say "at the end of each working day". A working day is Mon-Fri. The end of a working day is 23:59. So wait until tomorrow :-)

I set this up online a few days ago and I've just made my first few transactions rounded up by 1p. I've got loads of matched betting funds being moved round so I see it as being pretty easy to reach the £50 target this month.
    This is fun.
    Happy chappy

I've got two accounts, a grad account and a online saver account. when i opedn save the change the lady at the branch told me, i would see a save the change on my account on the 1st of feb.

Then I thought to myself, I thought the money goes into a saving account, online saver in my case. So do i know from internet banking if i am actually registered for save the change?

No you don't... until you use your debit card...then you'll see transactions marked "save the change". But you won't see these until the day after your debit card transaction has been listed in internet banking.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Everyone leave stacey21 alone. All she was doing was informing everyone of a new idea (which i actually think is a good one), and all you have done is ripped the idea apart.

She did'nt come up with it, she was just passing the info on. And M Thomson, you should be ashamed of yaself!

So if we list the events,

Day one purchase whatever on your debit card
Day two shows up on your online statement
Day three see it marks "save the change" on your online statement?

I'm registered and can see it under "Transfers & Payments" on internet banking.

It's set up as a bill payment under the title "Save the Change", and the total change from debit card transactions that appeared on my statement today, is showing as due today, awaiting processing.
