Bought a £0.01 ebay auction with the account and it shows my balance is now £1.01 less than it was. Is this right?

Can't say I'm that bothered about the extra penny, but the way I understood it it was meant to be £1.00 less exactly.

Good purchase! Has the £1 charge (6p + 94p) to your debit card come up on your statement? I made 2 purchases on my card at Tesco yesterday and they haven't shown up yet. Very unusual (normal happens same day I thought?)

Your savings account should have been credited 94p by now. That will be matched by Lloyds some time before 1st April. (as stated in previous post)

No the 6p + 94p hasn't shown up yet , in my experiene it is not the same day that it shows up on my account. Thanks for letting me know they match it in april, wasn't aware of that, will have to keep track to make sure they do it correctly, dont want to have to trawl through 2 months worth of tiny transactions. Chewing gums quite a good one 30p.

Well, I paid a few bills with my card online yesterday, and did the shopping, and have already got £2.51 due from the TSB :D

Not expecting to see the bills on my statement for a few days - never do, but the shopping has been processed through (in fact it was delivered on Wednesday, and showing as 'unavailable funds' the same day, so it was a nice surprise to see it had qualified when I checked my account this morning).

Online statement shows the amount going to Tesco, and further down the page, the change to my savings account under the heading of 'save the change' so I wonder if they'll bundle it up in one payment each day.

    :)

    Wonder no more. ;)

    From the T&C's...
...The aggregate amount of “change” from debit card purchases debited to your current account will be transferred to your nominated savings account at the end of each working day.

Thanks - should have gone back and reread the T&Cs before that comment I suppose :)

Had a little go at Lloyds today!

I didn't get a debit card when I opened my current account (I think I was offered one, but turned it down as i wanted to limit the amount of cards I have and knew I wouldn't use the current account as I just wanted the monthly saver). So wanted a debit card to be able to make use of Save your Change thingy.

But because I haven't used the account, I am 'high risk' ! I pay the maximum into their bloody monthly saver, so i can't be that much of a risk!!

It ended up with me seeing the manager and them saying if I put my salary in for 3 months, they would reconsider !! I think I will wait for the monthly saver to end and then they can 'consider' their account dumped!!!!
