Creating an Egg savings account now...except their account creation site is down. Not a good start.fnarkfnark wrote:...If you have an Egg card, log in and you can either 1) Make debit card deposits to your Egg savings account, or 2) Egg pay account - all using your Lloyds debit card.
Excellent... 5 minutes later... £1.01 in my Egg Savings Account after a deposit using my Lloyds debit card. No more stupid trips to Tesco working out what I can get for lunch for £2.01.0 -
I've given up trying to do the whole rounding things to £1.01 etc when shopping. I use my debit card for everything though so i presume it all add up

No, it's the Egg Savings account, although it's possible to make payments to the Egg Money card as well.monki_man wrote:Stupid question, but when you guys are referring to egg savings, is this egg money account?0 -
Possibly both - I guess you could create either. I just created a savings account bymonki_man wrote:Stupid question, but when you guys are referring to egg savings, is this egg money account?
1. create an internet account here
2. then start the savings account form here
When you're asked "Have you applied for an Egg Card/Loan/Savings account or Egg Pay before?" say YES and enter your logon details created at 1.

Coral does with £5 min transfer (most will be the same). But surely easier (cheaper?) just to transfer to egg ?monki_man wrote:£5.01 into my saving account, this was opende instantly and also £1.01 into my egg money. now has anyone confirmed if betting sites count?0 -

I funded it when I opened it - It's still showing only £250.The reason I ask is that I've just seen a post on the stoozing site where someone had opened a receiving account (the online saver) but had not funded it with the necessary £250.Conjugating the verb 'to be":
-o I am humble -o You are attention seeking -o She is Nadine Dorries0 -
You don't need to keep £250 in the online saver. All that happens is you only get a nominal interest rate if it's below £250.someone had opened a receiving account but had not funded it with the necessary £250.
I had £0 in the account and the first Save the Change has been moved into it.Dagobert0
