    thanks for the reply.

    I, in no way, am I looking to antagonise anyone. As you say, really I have no right to complain as it's not cost me anything per se, except time and a few grey hairs.

    I think that, really, I just wanted to get this written down and maybe it would be brought to the attention of the powers-that-be. I feel that I'm being fobbed off and I'm really depressed about the situation.

    Everyone makes mistakes, but there are limits...

  • Sorry to hear about the problems.
    In our case everything went very well.
    Day one, scaffolding arrived and was erected in one and half hours.
    Day two, electricians arrived first followed 1hr 50mins later, by panels, all work completed within four hours and free system up and running.
    Have not yet received certificate for electrical work.

    I managed to (finally) get intouch with someone at Homesun this morning and they'ye looking into it. Not holding my breath.
  • Homesun are probably the worst company I have ever tried to use. Customer service when you can reach them seem to have had no training and struggle, legal services can't answer your questions. I cancelled my install by recorded delivery only to receive a letter saying that all the paperwork was now completed and if they don't hear from me they assume everything is ok to go ahead with the installation. The CEO takes no notice of correspondence as I sent him a recorded delivery letter saying how incompetent the company was and the problems I had, again this has been ignored.

    I have been intouch with three people. Two from Homesun (one customer services and one rep) and one from Carillion, and now, of course, yourself.

    I want to make it clear that I am NOT being antagonistic or difficult, I just need this resolved ASAP as we (particularly my wife) really do not need anymore stress in our lives.

    I only really ask one thing; keep us informed! Information is power and defuses the most difficult of situations.

    Now that we have so much help from yourselves I know that this will all be sorted out soon. I genuinely appreciate your efforts.
