I went to do a first annual service of a boiler fitted by a subcontractor of this firm.
The boiler had been incorrectly wired up and the Manufacturer, Vaillant, say that if they had been called to repair it under warrantee they would have charged £300 for their visit and not done any repair because it had not been installed according to their instructions.
The homeowner called the subcontractor who said that he would come and correct the installation fault but he would CHARGE for correcting it !!!
Because HomeSun keep changing their address and phone numbers so far this homeowner has not been in contact with them assuming they are still in business.
Perhaps Krish Patel would like to comment on why their sub contractor expects to charge for correcting his faulty work?0 -
As a previously happy HomeSun customer, I have just found out that all their assurances on selling my property were nothing but artifice.
We have received a great offer on our house. Unfortunately the buyers' lender has requirements over and above those of the CML basic guidelines. Various financial advisors have said that very few lenders will subscribe to just the basics.
So my house sale is likely to fall through. As will any future offers.
It's impractical to expect potential buyers to restrict their choice of lender to those few who don't have extra requirements. My house is now effectively unsellable and I face being stuck there for a further 22 years. The buyout cost is over £22k, which I simply don't have.
HomeSun have been singularly unhelpful, not even considering the additional requirements of the buyers' lenders, which are not particularly onerous and deal purely with repossession clauses.
The representative assured me that we would have no problem selling the property, that all lenders would lend, and that if we had any problems, we could terminate the agreement on three months' notice. That turns out to have been a pack of lies. Or he was awful at his job. In any event, the principle under which we agreed the lease is badly breached. HomeSun won't even entertain any discussion.
If anybody out there has any advice for me, please let me know, as I simply don't know what to do next.

Unless they sort out the legal position on the house sale, personally I would keep disconnecting the panels(without damaging them) and let them sue me.0
