I have today cancelled my contract with Homesun saying I have no confidence in them. Luckily, there are companies out there who are not so greedy as Homesun and are willing to supply free solar systems. I am in contact with two of them.
Should the opportunity arise, I would be very happy to take part in any BBC, other media or MP discussions about this company. They deserve to be exposed so that other trusting homeowners do not put any business their way.

Just to finalise this ... the quickest reply ever (5 minutes) received by email from Homesun to acknowledge the cancellation. It's good to talk ......

if you don't mind me asking; are they returning your contract/lease or at least giving written confirmation?

Well, it's all gone very quiet. I've not posted over the weekend cause it's been very busy sorting out Christmas. Also found other forums, etc to post to and been writing letters and making phone calls. Seems like there are many, many unhappy customers.

Have now sent a cancellation email (sent Saturday resent today [Monday]). I have asked for my lease to be returned and also to include a copy of my land registry entry as I want proof that it hasn't been tampered with. Let you all know how that turns out!

Have you any companies you've come across you think are worth looking at that are still offering free solar?

Crikey that was quick! Got a call about 60 seconds after I pressed submit.

Wanted to know if I wanted to wait until the 'new' offer in Jan but honestly we've had enough.

They will be returning the lease and, hopefully, HMLR entry.

Not posted for a couple days as just thinking about Homesun makes my blood boil.

Not had anything yet but, I suppose, it is getting on for Christmas and the post round here can be a bit iffy. I'm guessing though that it'll take another barrage of emails and phone calls before anything gets done!

In fact, thinking about it, I've not even had an email confirmation of cancelation yet.

With the amazing winds we've been having down here I've been glad that I don't have any panels. One house just up the road from me had half of his panels ripped off on Tuesday night! I'm starting to think that I've had a lucky escape.

greenhomecompany are offering a 30% price reduction for equipment bought after december 12th....... interesting that rent a roof outifts are cancelling installations when the equipment is allready collapsing in price.
