so now on day 5 of this weeks weekly spends and not spent anything!!!
on the bad side i did spend £40 in schuh on a new pr of pumps today. my others are wrecked and absolutely stink!!! paid for those out of debt account and saving my weekly spends for expensive weekends!
will buy some chips at lunch tomorrow as going to the seaside but that will be under £1.50. going cinema on thur but free parking, will take hm popcorn and drink and got a 40% voucherso will be a very cheap night!
must type up my reports now before zumba!:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j0 -
so had £27.17 left of weekly spends last week. £2.17 to pigs, rest saved. done 4 mystery shops so far today and abother 2 hopefully to do later. then hopefully two tomorrow.
off into town in a minute, going to try out the quidco app someone recommended. you get cash back in some stores just for 'checking in' from the storeas there are multiple branches of some of them i am going to see how much i can get!

hmmm so day off work booked today to undercoat front door as weather was meant to be sunny. however it has already rained, sky is dark grey and i can hear thunder! so not impressed!
so plans for today-
sign up for 2 new ms co's and complete app for another (been a slow month MS wise)
clean and tidy house
go to pick up parcel from po (new shoes)
go to pet shop to get new wheel for hammy as when i got in last night she had chewed the middle so it had fallen off the spoke (luckily she was not under the wheel!)
go to morrisons and buy few bits. will take the £10 excess food budget from last month in case there are offers. i get paid on monday but wont do big shop til next weekend so will get what i need for the week
if it is not raining for an hour i might finish sanding doorframe and dust it down. will be better to do this before i clean living room
was paid 4 weeks ago today and have £29.41 left of weekly spends. however this has now to stretch til monday and i am off out tonight. will take £5 out of the excess weekly spends and that will cover it. NSD to be had tomorrow and sun!

hmmm so i said i wanted to cut down on MS but not this much! been a really slow month and only earnt/booked £248
hopefully i can get another £36 next weekend for the cinema audits but not guaranteed
so i have been decorating. unfortunately as i am doing the front door and had to strip the horrible paint off i melted the rubber draft seal so pulled it off. have bought new one but dont want to put it up til i finish so i dont get paint on it. unfortunately i have big gaps all around the sides of the door so the room is a bit cold! i need to be able to take the door off to strip/fill/sand one side of the frame as i cant get to it at the mo. hoping to do that next weekend when dad is over. thinking of then maybe booking the mon and tue off work to get it painted.
i have decided to go to berlin in dec with a friend if i can get it off work (should be fine). it will only cost £135 for hotel and flight and i have £100 in expenses next month that i have not counted towards totals. so i will try and pay the £35 and spending money out of excess spends and extra MS when(!) it picks up again. also, the hol i have planned in jan is with a friend. she is going on hol in nov and said she cant afford to book til she gets back. so suppose if she overspends etc... it could be longer before we go. so decided to go! wont affect this months fugures as i will stick it on the cc and pay it of when i am paid next month (bill wont need to be paid til end nov). will also need to get a passport sorted.
have got a weekend in london in oct (to stay with friend), weekend in london early dec (with uni friends) and now berlin before xmas. prob not going to be able to do much more for the next 3 months to pay for all that!:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j0 -
I think you are going great guns on the debt busting. Well done. And a nice one on trying to balance your life a bit more.

hmm spendy week
nothing left of weekly spends and still have til monday to go. needed to get foundation which is £20 (worth every penny) and spent £10 on passport pics (took first set with my fringe down, worried they wouldnt accept them, decided to pay for check and send and she agreed they would not accept so more redone). so passport cost me about £96 in total
went on credit card along with £126 flight to berlin (i paid for bag and friend giving me half), £80 flight to manchester (no way am i driving to north wales from here!) and also £75 theatre tix (to be paid for out of our kitty). on a plus i bought london train tix using excess weekly spends for one journey snd half a journey. just need to get a coach ticket for the other half.
not too concerned about where i am now but just realised, before xmas i have got-
weekend in london- need to book coach home and pay for meals/nights out etc...
night out for friends bday
weekend in north wales- need to pay for flight, train tic at £20 and all soending whilst there
weekend in bham for friends bday- need to pay for petrol there and night out
weekend 2 in london- paid for hotel and theatre, will pretty much cover afternoon tea by then with our 'kitty' but need general spends
work xmas night out- will be doable on my weekly soend for the week i think
berlin trip- need to pay flight and passport off cc, give friend about £50 for hotel and all spends
so assume i will spent £0 each week not listed above (obv will not happen) then got about 15 weeks spends = £600.
£600 / 7 events = £85 per event. apart from the two nights out here that will not be enough. and i will spend not only on those events.
eek
off to bowling tomorrow so need to borrow from food budget. have bought and paid for two games already using local equivalent of groupon. so need money for drinks and possibly taxi (but shared with housemate)
hmmm need to make money quick :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j0 -
right have just applied for a tesco credit card. figured may as well get some points on spending. will use card for food, petrol and the other online things i normall buy with it. will also use to buy presents and just transfer the amount from the present account. i have set it to come out of debt account and will set up dd to pay in full each month before the end of the month if i can pick the day so i know how much is left at end of month. need to forget that it is 0% for 15 months as i do not want to fall into that trap again!
think what i will do is set up a standing order to debt account from my salary account for £150 per month on pay day (for £80 petrol and £70 food). i will withdraw the other £10 of food budget in cash as will need cash sometimes if they dont take card just for milk etc....
so another day of painting for me then off to do my audit later then bowling. we are going to walk to bowling and possibly get a taxi home -will only be about £2-3 each.:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j0 -
£900 paid to dad this morning
only £1665 to go! would love to clear on 30th Nov but not sure i will be able to as will need about an extra £165 to do so. maybe if i get lots of MS
speaking of MS total earnt sep £300 exactly£10 short of target. although cant believe how much more free time i have had this month!
got a fair bit booked for oct already:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j0 -
glad you had a least a partial break this last month. And still a goodly sum of debt to shift to your dad aswell. Keep going
