will pay for 2 x flights and passport with ot/mileage next month.

just realised that if i had paid dad £1k would have paid of 50% debt since april :( however should hit 55% next month :)

today has been good. got 5 x MS earning a total of £66 :) now only need to book another £59 to hit oct target :)

so been playing with figures and hope to be still on track to pay off dad and pay £300 taxbill by end of 2011. owe £300 on cc atm from passport and flights but that will be cleared with o/t on payday. main problem will be paying for all my weekends away as will probably not be able to afford that on my £40 per week :( need to try and book more MS and enter comps :)

so booked tomorrow off to finish the decorating once and for all and put all decoraring stuff in loft and give house a deep clean! however looks like i will finish today :) glad i did outside doorframe yest as its raining now! hope it stops at some point as need to pull masking of window abpbe door and clear off excess paint!

got my new tesco cc, bought a quite expensive item of jewelley on it for a ms which i will be reimbursed for most of hopefully end of nov. going to selll it on ebay but will wait until mid nov when more ppl are buying for xmas. also got a few winter things from joules sale to sell then as well for xmas gifts!

How does MS work then? Do you only get reimbursed for some of what you buy?

it really depends on the ms co and also the job. some are quick jobs for a low fee, others more complicated and longer for a higher fee, some are a mixture of fee and reimb (usually fast food) and others are purely reimb only.

for reimb only they usually say we will give you up to xxx amount and you need to buy something and can keep it. restaurants are like this as well. you get xxx and must buy 1 x starter, 2 mains etc...

if you are interested in giving it ago, check out the first page of the ms thread- https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3532593 there are lots of companies on there you can sign up to. tbh none are necessarily better than others as depends on your preferences and where you live. but to start i would recommend gap and retail eyes as they have quite a few easy jobs to get you started. good luck!

so got today off work. going into town to get my friend a present as she has just had a baby and got some stuff for charity shop on the way. then its do last but of decorating and finish cleaning house! got a phone call ms to do and also an audit as well

hmmm so very spendy week :( spent lots in london in cash which was not too bad as i had it saved. however then bought some clothes on cc and yesterday i bought a pair of ghds! oops :o:(

so bad news is looks like i can only pay dad £400 this month instead of £600 :( but then that is everything paid for.

on the plus side i have £50 overtime to be paid in nov and £40-50 to be paid in dec. but still have all these weekends to pay for! think i need to start entering comps!

in nov i am going to sell my jewellery i bought on a ms for hopefully £25 profit and also a few joules items i bought in the summer sale. 3 prs kids slippers hopefuly sell for about £20.

Hope you had a good time in London Clippy, I keep meaning to use one of my days off to get the train in for a bimble around but never get up early enough on the days I've not booked myself any MS work - despite Mr S living in London when we met we only ever had one weekend there so theres loads of the museums etc I still want to visit.

I've been more religious about entering some comps lately, concentrating on cash ones or things like tablets as Mr S want's one to take away with him next year.

How was lunch? Our champagne tea was yum yum :D. Good luck with Joules, I'm at break even with a cardi & top to sell, still, at least we know what to go for next time ;)

so just trying to do online banking and natwest appears to be down! v annoying as want to pay cc off :(

looks like i am on track for £400 to dad this month after adding up totals (provided the ms co's i think will pay by the 30th do pay). may be able to pay extra next month as i will be paying for the item of jewellery i purchased on the cc this month but then next month i should get approx £45 from ms co and hopefully at least £25 after fees selling it on ebay.

in wages news it appears i have had a 1k payrise! either that or i have accidently been moved up a notch. spoke to my colleague who is on same grade and he seems to think that we did go up in july. :) think it equates to about £50 a month but not sure (my pay varries as i usually have a bit of ot)

so only one ms booked for weekend. so plans are-

    today

    clean house top to bottom
    hang washing outside
go and see family who are over
maybe do some work if i have time
go to friends for dvd and takeaway

    tomorrow

    do ms
go to chavsta to do big shop (need toilet toll and washing powder so will be more expensive than usual)
    do some work
    go swimming possibly
    competitions!

Yay for the pay rise however small it seems to be! Am waiting to see what the jewellery payment is going to end up being too - although I've put a sign up at work advertising it, to save on ebay fees, figure I can get more of the cost back that way.
