Was a bit bored, so followed up your Facebook links. Got to say that they seem t have the "Airline" problem that EASYJET had when Stellios thought it a good idea to get in a film crew.

Lots of real appreciation for mobiles.co.uk, but, regrettably, from themselves!! Every other post seemed to be showing frustration from disappointed customers.

Mobiles.co.uk do seem to have inordinate faith in their on-line form and their cs reps ringing customers back. More fun waiting for Godot!

Yes they don't exactly help themselves do they :rotfl:

This comment posted an hour ago by them regarding a customer with concerns over cashback made me laugh ......
The cashback problems we have been having recently only affected customers who claimed towards the last couple of months of last year. The process should be running as normal by July. Thanks.

It's almost July now so thats ok isn't it ....oh no it's only the start of February :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

i should say in the interests of balance that in all my dealings with mobiles.co.uk over the course of a 24 month contract - cashback claims, faulty phones, incorrect charges - the company have been courteous and efficient in the extreme. the cashback claims especially were generally flawless, confirmed within 24 hours and paid within 14 days (although one took a lot longer, they paid up eventually).

that's not to say they are still like that now, but they would get a glowing review from me having just completed a contract. i have a new contract with them now, and the efficient customer service has continued, including a clear statement from a customer service representative about exactly which bills to send. the only fault i have found is that their paperwork is generally out of date, especially the welcome pack which provides incorrect information about cashback claims, but all the info is online and they are happy to confirm things in writing.

i do not work for mobiles.co.uk, but the experiences recounted here puzzle me. i have been frustrated by them in the past, but never for long, and all problems were sorted out satisfactorily with apologies and compensation where appropriate.

it will be interesting to see if anything has changed when it comes to the next set of claims...

    I've been Money Tipped!
Two claims to go in next month, hope all goes well.
Onestop claim in Monday, confirmed as accepted today by email and text (to correct mobile!) - cheque by 24th Feb would be nice.

You are having a laugh here surely

I can't believe you are praising them considering your past experiances and the many many posts you were forced to make as a result of poor service

A quick look at the threads show many examples such as ...
You had to threaten them with legal action
    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=35635461&postcount=33

You complained you can't get hold of them
    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=34795183&postcount=4

You started a thread asking Are They Still In Business because you can't get hold of them
    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=34789757&postcount=1

You started a thread They Have The Worst CS
    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=30897385&postcount=1

You started a thread because you had a Faulty Handset
    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=29350153&postcount=1

Many posts relating to no communication such as ...
    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=29111997&postcount=17

Considering your history with them of faulty goods, unauthorised funds taken, lack of communication, time scales, unanswered emails, having to threaten Legal Action, complaints of poor CS etc etc etc it's amazing you wish to praise them.

To make a statement such as "the company have been courteous and efficient in the extreme." when many of your posts and threads state otherwise is an absolute joke :rotfl:

It does beg the question what your position would have been without the help and advice you received from the good people on this forum ;)

Oh, please. Is your anger and bitterness towards this company so deeply ingrained within you, that you have to search out and quote absolutely anything to undermine anything positive that someone might have to say?
Judging by the research you have done, you seem to have plenty of time on your hands which might, not it, be better spent on some sort of anger management course that might help you move on in your life, or maybe even get one?

Yes, the OP has contradicted himself. However, have you not considered he may have changed his mind due to some positive interaction with this company. He's happy, he's in a good place with them. It's his right to change and/or express an opinion. And you don't like it. So, once again, the policy is to resort to nothing more than a bit of bullying, to undermine and invalidate a little positivity....

    Same old..same old....

It's to do with memory thommy I was one of those along with yourself who advised Ferris at the time of his problems and to be able to quote him takes very little effort ;)

Yes I do have an axe to grind as many people know as they cost me a lot of time and money so I'm hardly likely to extoll the virtues of them am I :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

What is it with people who have a problem with mobile.co.uk...

They feel the need to use THESE or , to make a point, when most of us get the drift just by reading the plain, old, simple written text....:wall:

I'm glad your memory serves you well. Sometimes, though, especially on mobiles threads, posters are on the receiving end of FAR TOO MUCH:rotfl:, which can make people feel a bit , or even :embarasse and lead them to feel :silenced: or even :EasterBun, when all they want to do is share their own personal opinions. Now that's a bit :naughty:
Wouldn't a bit more of CONSTRUCTIVE:think: (accompanied by a little bit of :coffee: and maybe a slice of :bdaycake:) be a good ? Yes, it might even lead onto a , to discuss things. Heck, if we get on nicely, discussing things, we could even have a :grouphug: or a :dance:and we'd all be :j

Now I've got TOO MUCH time on my hands........

Base Rate held, by the way!
