Erh did you not read my post?

    This website does it alresdy....

My god i give you guys the golden egg and you all miss it lol.

THIS WEBSITE DOES 90% of the work.. finding deals.. it just lacks the 'confirmation aspect' of the spreadsheet.

Blimey, I did, and I guess I deserved that, sorry. I will try it. When are you going to add the voting aspect !!! Just joking. :)

I cant take the credit for it alas a user who no longer posts on pts showed it around their thread 2-3 time (they now on thread 11 bit like us)... and they no longer use it so figured someone may get good use out of it. Its not a PTS specific website so what the hell let everyone here have value for it.

If someone contacts the user let me know he didnt respond to my pm on PTS asking if i could post it here.

Also as i said it should be used to find 90% of deals but some arent findable with it (finest etc etc)

I've spoken to MySupermarket and they, believe it or not, screen scrape T & A websites !! I incorrectly assumed that T, A & S gave them price files.
Wow that is quite surprising. So if Tesco or Asda make a change to their design/code it would cause problems for mysupermarket.

thanks, loving it but why have you kept it quiet for so long when you knew how much our SS editors are struggling and that our spreadsheet is available freely to all

no disrespect but paid to shop is a bit of a clique and don't allow free access to all

If anyone does use the site that neas just deafened and blinded us all with, please do so cautiously and still check asda's and tesco's websites. Mysupermarket frequently takes time to update and so can be wrong. There is never any substitution for double checking prices yourself prior to shopping.

I wasnt sure it was meant for MSE sorry... it wasnt my website you see. As they stopped using it figured you guys could give it a shot.

If it was mine i'd have released it to whoever i felt like.

Another thing sometimes its 'out; like this morning it had yesterdays deals on it but they werent correct.

Still dont look a gift horse in the mouth eh? I believe the spreadsheet machine is better than the website due to confirmation ability and finding other deals...

    Beware guys...

have done my shop this evening..lots of stuff has gone down in price in asda

red salmon, magnums, flash cleaning products....... even more so just bringing this to everyones attention...

my reccomendation is to go onto Asdas site and do a pretend shop...of all the items which are cheaper..

log out and the next day log back in and print off your ready made up to date priced shopping list!!

works everytime for me...you always know asdas latest prices also so no more getting caught out!!!!

I don't know exactly how the data gets transferred but mysupermarket quite often seems to lag significantly behind. It didn't update the asda price changes until lunchtime-ish today. I use it to look for deals but I always double check anything interesting as I've been caught out before.
