Had a really lovely sa this morning then one who made me feel like a thief this afternoon! I handed over my receipt and voucher, got a dirty look, she checked it all, signed the receipt then called over to another sa - "Just checking, I'm doing this right, I've checked the numbers and signed the receipt so she can't use it again, yeah?" I had no intention of reusing a receipt, don't really think there was any need to shout that out!!!!
You should have said its ok that was my 5th time using that one.:p0 -

So, I think I speak for a fair few others who are very, very grateful to those who have the skills to set up such a great tool, who would rather you keep your opinions to yourself.
I'm off out now, so any snide replies won't be noticed.
If it wsnt for the people posting deals etc there would be no spreadsheet! it annoys me sometimes that the spreadsheet editors seem to get ALL the credit here. yes most of us do appreciate the time they spend editing, but I am greatful to everybody who takes the time to post deals and send in forms. like i say, there would be no spreadsheet to edit if the rest of us werent posting deals.. there are more than just the editors to thank for all of this0 -
What about peoples time that they donate to updating the spreadsheet updaters? or doesn't that count?
Remember, as you keep reminding us all, you volunteered for the job, if you don't like it, don't do it!
Why don't you ask for some help, I would be happy (and i'm sure others would too) to give up some time to assist with the task and reduce the workload, but you seem more intent on keeping it close to your chest and martyring yourself for the cause, than accepting any assistance and improving what you pump out to the masses.
If you carry on like that their won't be a ruddy spreadsheet, you are now being rude and a pain in the whatever. Lots of us would like bits and pieces changed but you will never please everyone. If you don't like it take your own advice , and don't use it, and stop winding everyone up. The s/s editors are doing an amazing job and to be honest I wouldnt want you editing the spreadsheet if I was doing it as you are far to opinionated! Sorry but you really are making people annoyed now.Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -

Maybe they do ask for help…
Maybe it’s covert recruitment…
Have you been approached?
Going for a bath now, (sponsored by Tesco) so I won’t hear you from there.
"However, Tesco clearly underestimated the Great British Shopper's eye for a good deal."

Everyone's time counts and no-one has ever said it doesn't. However actually editing the SS takes far more time than submitting updates. We have hundreds of updates every day and only have a few people editing.
We took on three extra team members last week to assist with the workload, but we have to be careful about inviting people due to a recent sabotage attempt.
I have to say that with your attitude, I would advise against ever accepting you onto the team. Dealing with you here is more than enough, I have no desire to deal with you while editing also.0 -

Must admit this rings true like an earlier comment of mine. Its viral.. like youtube or facebook.
The editors are charitable great people who are spending their precious time updating but thanks should be given to all the people who spend their time as well.
And... seen as Paid to shop have stopped referencing the website that does all the work for you guys .... Yes theres a website that does most of the donkey work for you (90% of the time anyways).
It was inaccurate this morning so i believe its use along with spreadsheet will help save itime..
My gift to you all, i don't know who built it or who actually uses it but it does work.
