Just flicking through this afternoon's posts ( I've been at work since 7 so catching up) I notice a few folk have been sharing experiences of various tescos around the Bournemouth/Poole area. I think I've used them all over the past 2/3 weeks dtd-ing so here's my quick "in a nutshell" run-down, based on personal experience.

Bournemouth Extra (Castle Lane, by the hospital) - No problems here, some staff aware, some not. Nevr had to go sto Cust services-always dealt at till. I tend to look for the young student-type SA's - plenty of them.

Branksome Tesco Local (westbourne) - Staff ok - again some aware, some not. Fairly small store so limited choice but usually ok. There is one manager lady who literally runs over sometimes to ensure receipts are signed but she never gives out any grief bless her!

Poole -Tower park - Staff nice, never had any probs here and always good choice & levels of stock on most items.

Poole - Fleetsbridge - OH got dragged to cust services 2 days ago. However this was purely because nobody knew what to do with the voucher. Not even the Cust services ladies. OH had to train them. They were actually quite nice. Seems like most of the SA's don't know here and the supervisors are hassled because of this. This could be the reason for other people's reported problems. A huge store so usually good choice & stock levels. Always seems a bit frantic & busy in there though.

Ferndown - Nice store but fairly small. Staff seem ok, no probs. Limited stock & a bit out of the way for those living in Bmth or Poole, but a good "back-up" store. Young SA was in hysterics the other day serving me 1l bacardi & accepting a voucher for it. I had him in tears of laughter when I told him I would be getting a new voucher back as well.!

Hope that helps local DTD'ers in the area. I think it pays to be nice to the staff, not be a pain & not to over-do it in any one shop.

A big shout to the SS folk on here while I'm rambling on as well. Hope everyone has a top weekend!!

i always staple mine together, so never get it back, less hassle.. but i am beginning to dread going shopping now :rotfl:i am sure she watches for me, her and another supervisor were talking about me and my voucher last week, and i am so easy to spot!

Why are you worried about your shopping. I thought you were playing within the spirit of the game? Surely someone who isn't selective shopping doesn't have to worry about supervisors talking about them.

I just feel confused as you were going on about other people playing outside the spirit of the scheme.

Just a reminder to you and anyone else who thinks that they are not abusing the system. Selective shopping is not within the spirit f the scheme

    Hi all,

After several weeks of DTD shopping, running multiple vouchers a day, I have decided to call it a day. I have done very well out of this promotion, bending the rules here and there and had loads of fun and banter with the staff at my three local Tesco stores.

I have enough Wine, meat, crisps, coke, dishwasher tabs, dolmio, detergent and candles to last me for a long time, i have been shopping to help bring down future shopping bills and I will be relieved to ne able to get back to normality!

I am off to Cornwall on Sat for a short Easter break and not being able to do my DTD shops for a week has finally helped me make the decision to thow in the towel.

A massive thanks to all that have contributed to the threads and an extra big thanks to the people that created and maintain the spreadsheet, I'm sure I speak for us all in regards to that!

I will be off to Tesco tomorrow to kill off 5 vouchers on the 4 boxes of beer for £25 offer and the latest NOW album to listen to on our 5 hour drive to the coast at the weekend :-)

Good luck to those who will keep going until this promotion ends, have fun and stock the cupboards, garage, loft and spare room!

    It's been emotional.
    :money:

Going cold turkey? I congratulate you! :T
I don't think I'm a strong enough person to do that!
I will probably either have to cut down or maybe seek professional help when the time comes!
