To be honest, I've not tried them either. Will do tomorrow though and report back sometime over Easter.

Got stung on the champagne the other day so took it back (it was a cash shop with only that item on the receipt). Don't know if it's on the spreadsheet, nor can I remember the name, but it was £29.99 against ASDA's £12 but came back N/A.

You are quite right. It isn't a popularity contest. You thank people if the reader believes you have added something to the discussion that has helped them.

So an example would be giving advice, ideas, adding deals, being courteous etc.

That's not popularity, that is merely giving to the thread, rather than disrupting it.

Do you believe that having a low thank ratio means someone's input is useless like Simon? This is nonsense.

I see posts being thanked just because someone agrees with their opinion, not what I would call advice or idea.

    Who's disrupting anything.

To be fair, you do have a point here. I 'thank' people on an entirely random basis when I'm catching up on posts of an afternoon. Some of the posts I thank are completely nonsensical, but I like the idea of someone coming across such a post and wondering why on earth someone has 'thanked' them for it.

(I'm still trying to work out who the guy is in your avatar - is it the guy from the original Saw movie? Possibly in Lost as well (although I didn't watch that so may be wrong) or Prison Break or some US drama series?)

I don't know if Simon used the word 'useless' or not. I think in many cases a 'like' button would be more useful. This would show when you agree with somebody.

    Evening!
Are there any Admin folk still about please? I sent forms in earlier today about 2 different Easter Eggs, then again tonight when I got home as they hadn't been added.

Do you not put them on if they are not on Mr T site. If not this would be a shame as I am sure Mr T is hiding lots of exiting dtd's from us!

    No, it is god-awful stuff.

By 'good DTD', do you mean 'pay you to take it away'? In which case, yes, it's lovely.

Was yours the Kinder Eggs and Smarties? I saw them here, thank you! Some people don't use the spreadsheet for various reasons, so it does help to post it here too for us layabouts!
