Just got back from Mr T's, the queues were horrendous!!! Everyone seems to be panic buying because of the easter hols... ridiculous!!!! Especially when they're open tomorrow...
Anyway, 2 vouchers were accepted no probs by someone who I have met regularly!0 -
Just back from Tesco and had a funny moment in the booze aisle. I was standing looking for the 70cl Whyte and MacKay whisky and a middle aged couple were standing just next to me.
I reached out for the correct bottle and noticed that the 1 litre bottle was the same price. Quickly double checked my shopping list and picked up the 70cl bottle.
The man beside me said 'oh you get a much better deal with the 1 litre bottle, looks it's the same price as the other one".
I mumbled something about Tesco Price Check and the net cost being £6ish and quickly scurried off with my 70cl bottle.
They must have been wondering if I was a bit doolally:rotfl:
I would have explained price match and referred them to this thread.0 -

Judging by my parents use of computers, it would have been pointless. Old people are completely clueless despite it being so simple. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
For the ladies...
Bodyform Super Wing Deo Fresh Lightly Scented Ultra Towels (asda Product Code: 2694202) £1.55 / £1.00 DTD £1.10
Now this doesn't appear on T's website as far as I can see, but I did pick up a pack in T today in store, so I'll let you know tomorrow whether it works or not. Please note though that it is only this variety that's £1 in Asda!!
It's only a game

what a shop I had today!
First a customer hit a SA with their trolly and they ended up having an arguement in the middle of the aisle (I was on the SA's side, they didnt even apologise to her) and as I was leaving they'd had a shoplifter who had tried to run over the manager with their car.
On DTD side of things I had my reciet checked for the first time and the SA wanted to keep my reciet, I said I needed it back for my records but she said shee had to keep it. i politely told her she just had to sign it to stop me printing another voucher.0 -
I posted earlier that I bought Lloyd grossman sauces yesterday at Mr. T. T at £1.69, A at £1 yet my voucher came back as N/A ... boo hoo.
I use them anyway so just have to take a hit on that one.
Another possible is T Finest sauages, pack of 6 (either cumberland or pork and leek). T at £2.58, A Extra special rolled back to £1.93 so it's £1.10 DTD and £1.48 Net cost. Put my receipt in ten mins ago so will report if it's confirmed tomorrow.
:rotfl:Tiger
